This Holiday Season, we're organizing an anonymous gift exchange for the Downton Abbey community! All are welcome to participate, with whatever characters, seasons, alternative universes or pairings you like. Please see below for the schedule of this event, and a brief explanation of terms used :)

How do I Sign up? We'll be releasing a form on Archive of Our Own (AO3) when sign-ups open - you will issue a request of what characters you would like to see, a prompt if you like, and anything you definitely don't want (any triggers or squicks, or even a character you don't care for). After that, you'll be asked to submit an offer - simply put down the characters you'd like to write for!
We'll let you know when the sign up form is live!
What kinds of gifts are you accepting in the exchange? Anything! Fics, gifts, art, songs, interpretive dance... if it's a format that doesn't totally work on AO3, submit it here or to our email address, and we'll post it on the 24th with the rest of the works.
How long should fics be? This is a low-pressure fun event for the Downton fandom, and we're all quite aware of how stressful the holiday period can be - therefore, the word count we will be accepting is anything more than 500 words. There is no upper limit - but remember, the deadline for all works is the 19th of December, so it must be fully complete by that date.
What do you mean by Anonymous? The works will be posted with the creator's name as "anonymous" on December 24th, so you'll get your gift before you know who wrote it. On the 27th December, creators' names will be revealed.
