S A A R E T Islands by Anna - Kaisa Kukkomen, are glass ovals with miniature islands inside. The islands float in water which reflects them like a mirror. The cut surface of the water is still. The islands inside the glass remind a water color painting. The ovals are unique pieces blown with steam stick technique in Lasismi Oy, Finland in 2018 and 2019.
