ode to Celtic Boy

we fall down like toy soldiers in a child's room, no one is there when it matters or when it counts,at the end of the day when you pack your bags and take the long trip north.. no one is there with you, death is a lonely thing

wings and halos and fluffy white clouds are expected, but no one really knows, people gather in your memory, from all walks of life, because you were the one grinning from ear to ear, putting the biggest smile on our faces, and now putting the biggest frowns on us.

the irony in all this

we gather in remembrance of a caring soul who loved the game of basketball and loved to make people laugh, a boy taken too soon a boy who was truly someone you met once in a life time, an angel on earth, 

now god has asked him to return.. heavens jester

we should not ask questions like how or why, instead we should rejoice in the memory of him, we all knew this kind soul, because he was the one who stood out..

i feel humbled that i got to know you, i remember me you and Tristan would crack jokes and hang out after school and how we would always joke about whose a better basketball team, the celtics or the spurs.. that smile is imprinted in my mind, its imprinted in everyone's mind.. waves of nostalgia roll in as we remember you, one of the good ones, this is an ode to you Celtic Boy,
