Ugh, Dacina’s the worst! I mean, I’m not sure I have flat out hatred for her like I did when she first showed up. She was such a little bitch back then, there’s good reasoning to why we fought. She needed to be taught a hard lesson, and the teacher needed to be teeth and claws. The feud now is more for fun, I think... I need competition to live! And fighting! And Dacina’s actually strong enough to match me on a low level! I know I could kill her if I went too far, but I won’t. She’s gained a bit of my trust, for now, but the fighting’s more fun than being nice to the little shitwolf.

Aspen giggled in excitement as he took the bottle from Dacina. “Oh, loup, you are an angel.” He smiled lovingly at the alcohol, gently petting the glass. “Do I owe you anything else? More food, any other gardening...?”

Joseph inhaled deeply and tried to calm his shaking hands. He'd gone around to all sorts of restaurants all across Mamono looking to be hired as a cook. Fortunately, he finally got a call back. It was only an interview, but it was a big step for him. It meant he might finally be able to really start a living. So, with that train of thought, he pushed the door open and stepped inside. The smell of alcohol made him cough. He hated liquor, but if this place would hire then he knew he could deal with it. He took a moment to grip his necklace and whisper a short prayer before stepping up to the counter to face the woman behind it. "Uh... I'm here to be interviewed for that job as a cook? Uhm... I'm Joseph, you're the owner correct?" He asked nervously.

One minute, Aspen had fallen asleep on the spellbook he was studying. The next, he woke up in a strange city, one that was obviously foreign, with the English written on the buildings. The witch would think he was dreaming but he was still wearing the stupid cast. The cast wasn’t ever on in dreams, even lucid ones. He looked around for a moment before deciding to seek help in the closest building, labeled The Pack in a turned off neon sign. 

The boy stepped inside, walking up to the counter. The woman behind it wasn’t human, which was somehow comforting. Her aura kind of looked like one of the wolves he saw sometimes while out with Lark, but with a bit more of something he couldn’t recognize yet. “Um, mademoiselle? Excusez-moi?”
