Please do a part two of the guys meeting a pregnant stranger, it was so cute. Maybe Atsumu, Sugawara, Diachi and Suna?

I can!! I’ve never written for Daichi though so it’ll be my first time writing for him hopefully it’ll turn out right!(also I’m taking out the saving the reader because I’m not to good at writing there confrontation sorry😭)

Atsumu(I think I head cannon Atsumu as like a very whipped s/o😭😭)

When he’d met you all he could do was stare in wonder, you were the prettiest person he’d ever seen,

Immediately he was asking if you were ok, you simply raised an eyebrow, “you’re the one who bumped into the table silly” you giggled lightly when he let out a quiet oh yea.

“Well uhmmmm is this seat taken?”You shake your head lightly and he plopped himself down beside you.

“And that’s how we met!” He tells the interviewer proudly as he’s sat behind Yoh on the couch hands around your very pregnant belly.

Sugawara

He met you through Hinata who set the two of you up together for a date at a little cafe.

The first thing you’d told him was about your pregnancy. He told you that wasn’t really a deal breaker fkr him, besides how much different could it be than the kids he worked with?

He found it much different the more and more serious the two of you became the more and more devoted he was to helping you raise your precious baby girl.

The more that everytime he saw little families out and about or saw the kids being picked up by their parents the more excited it was for that to be you and him with your daughter.

And that’s how he found himself literally crying his eyes out to Hinata about how great full he is to be able to meet you and how excited he is to finally be able to hold the baby when she’s born.

Daichi

He’d met you while he was on the job, you’d asked him about where the little library was, and he’d given you the directions but you still looked up at him confused.

Quickly he checked his watch, “I uh get off in ten minutes I can show you than.

So you sat on the side walk next to Daichi waiting for him to get off work and lead you to the library which he was sweet enough to even help you fill out the paper work to get a library card, even giving you a sticky note with his number on it!

Which you gladly texted, eventually becoming friends with you and going to your appointments with you when you’d told him about not having friends to go with you to them.

And before Daichi knows it, he’s chatting with his coworkers about how excited he is to be a dad.

Suna

It wasn’t like he didn’t expect it, he knew who you were, you were his niece’s teacher, he just didn’t expect to be like attracted to you or anything.

So when five months down the road you’re laying against Suna while he’s got one hand on your belly, the other scrolling through Pinterest, neither of you are too suprised when he faces the phone to you and shows you a cute little outfit before following the link to buy it.

“Suna you’re gonna spoil her” you say lightly

“So she’s like my baby. I can do that” he says bringing his arm up to hug you as he kisses your head.

Anywho let me know if you want me to write anything else bc I love requests so much!!

and considering the fact that suga grew up to become a teacher, i think he’d just naturally be good with kids. the type to always have kids gravitating towards. he’s the type of dad that is really intuitive, and will always know what’s up with their kid the moment he spots them. also understands baby talk really well? like his baby will just mumble something and suga’s already like “im on it” like???? (also pls what if suga’s teenage kid has tiktok and he appears in one of them and all the comments are just thirsting over teacher!suga that’s so good omg)

and asahi, oh my, dad!asahi is the cutest. so good with making sure his kid is confident in themself no matter what. will always encourage them to push through regardless of if they fail. i don’t think he’d be all fragile and soft as a dad, but rather that he respects his kid and in turn his kid respects him, you know? asahi would definitely let his daughter pull him into one of her tea parties and put him in dresses, and he’d definitely wrestle his son and let him win and pretend to fall and die when he hits him with a fake sword hfjsfhwkjwsjkhf

but i agree, all the boys in haikyuu would be good dads for different reasons i cannot im losing my mind this is so cute

Sick child headcanons

Tanaka Ryunosuke

- When one child gets sick, the others in the house usually followed suit. Which can spell disaster when you have four kids. Tanaka and you had taken turns staying up over night with your oldest son as he made frequent bathroom trips to empty his stomach. Tanaka had went to work in the morning while you stayed home and he was nervous as to what he was going to come home to. 

- He was not expecting to see the rambunctious twins laying on the couch zoned out watching tv, the pair barely even noticing as he walked in the door. He also did not expect to see his oldest son asleep on the bathroom floor.

- Tanaka picked his eight year old son off the floor and deposited him in bed with a bowl just to be safe. Then made his way through the house looking for you.

- He found you in the nursery rocking chair half asleep while rocking a fussing one year old. You informed him that every child now had a fever and had been throwing up, which was not a surprise to him. He could tell how stressed and exhausted you were from caring for them all day though. He ordered you to take a shower, relax in the bath or take a nap. 

- Tanaka went into ultimate dad mode. He was able calm down the youngest child and get in her in her crib taking a nap. He started a new movie for the twins and put cool wash cloths on their heads to help with the fevers. The house was cleaned and he had some soup started on the stove. 

- Once everyone was awake and had eaten what they could of dinner, Tanaka decided that they needed to watch a movie together and cuddle on the couch until bed time. 

Akaashi Keiji

- Akaashi never planned on being a single dad but here he was. He read the books and did what he could to be the best dad to his daughter. 

- But nothing fully prepared him for when his baby girl got sick for the first time. Sure he knew what medicine to give her and how much. He knew how to handle fevers. He was also used to the sleepless nights.

- He did not know how to handle how much it would hurt his heart to see his baby so miserable. The constant need to cuddles, the constant fussing from not feeling well, and the refusal to drink her bottle were things that worried him. Sure he knew they were normal when sick but that did not make it easier to deal with.

- Even when she would sleep, he was still waking himself up to check her fever every two hours. He did not want to have it spike and him not notice. 

- He was relieved when he finally got her to drink a bottle. But it was short lived since she threw it all up twenty minutes later. He tried pedialyte to keep her hydrated but of course she hated the taste and refused to drink it. 

- It was a long weekend but Akaashi definitely won the best dad award with his constant care. He was glad when the fever went away and he finally saw his baby girl return to her happy self. 

Nishinoya Yu

- Dating while being a single mother was hard. Luckily, you were able to find man that loved and cared about you and your son. That man came in the form of Nishinoya Yu. 

- It was still hard when your son was sick on the night Noya made reservations to celebrate your one year anniversary. Noya did not answer when you called him to cancel plans so you left a very apologetic voicemail. 

- So you were surprised to hear a knock at your door twenty minutes later. You opened the door to find Noya standing there in pajamas holding Popsicles and movies.

- “Just because your son is sick doesn’t mean I don’t want to spend our anniversary together. Now he gets to celebrate with us, which is perfect because I love having him in my life too.”

- Noya helped take care of your son as if he was his own child. Of course that involved being spoiled with his favorite movies and Popsicles for his sore throat.

-  The night was full of cuddles and laughter as Noya helped distract your son from his aching throat. 

Sugawara Koushi

-Usually you stayed home when your daughter was sick but you had a meeting today so Suga stayed home with her instead. Staying home with a sick kid was not something he was used to doing but that didn’t mean he was clueless as how to care for his sick daughter. 

- He knew what medicine to give her along with what dose. He knew other tricks to help bring down a fever. He knew that the extremely cuddly toddler would want to be held all day. And he knew he favorite movies to watch. He was 100 percent confident in his abilities to stay home with his sick child. 

- He was not prepared for her fever to spike into dangerous levels. Or for her to break out in a rash all over her body. Or for none of his tricks to work on her fever. 

- This lead to an impromptu trip to the doctor’s office. Suga being extremely grateful for the connections he had making him able to get an appointment right away. 

- He was relieved to find out that the rash was due to the fever and nothing to worry about. The high fever was due to an ear infection that slipped through the cracks and started getting worse. Suga was given an antibiotic for your daughter and assurance that everything should be fine.

- You arrived home to find Suga and your daughter cuddled up on the couch napping with cartoons playing in the background.

“So if lil timmy has 3 raccons and rodricko gives him 7 more, how many does he have now?”

Scenario: Dad!Min Yoongi

Scenario: Too many butterflies... 

Not Requested || REQUESTS ARE OPEN 

You were quite far into your pregnancy now, though the weight held you down and your feet were swollen, you were fond of the excitement that seemed to grow within yourself and Yoongi with each passing day.

“We have everything ready, right?” Yoongi asked for the millionth time that week. You were due at any moment, and though you should have been the stressed one, it seemed Yoongi was occupying that position. You laughed and nodded, watching your husband scratch his head as he glanced over the bags which were by the bedroom door. “I should move these by the front door, yeah?” He thought aloud, turning to you for your input.

“Yoongs, honey, we have time, okay? Come lay with me, it’s cold.” You laughed, patting Yoongi’s empty and cold side of the bed. Your husband stared at you for a moment, before a defeated sigh left his lips and he obliged, sliding in beside you, his arm under your head as you curled into your side. It was hard not to fidget.

“I’m just… I’m really excited? But nervous at the same time. Like, I have butterflies in my stomach, but there’s so many I sorta feel sick.” You hummed in response to Yoongi’s truthful words. You couldn’t deny, you felt very much the same way.

“That’s normal though. Just don’t worry yourself sick, okay? If you stress, I stress and if I stress, the little one will stress.” At the mentioning of the infant, your hand instinctively moved to your stomach, rubbing it gently. Yoongi’s hand followed yours, resting atop your slightly cold hand.

“Usually I’d think of something else, but what else is there to think about? You two are very much my entire world.” Your heart fluttered. And perhaps that was an understatement. Though you’d received affection and all the love you could hope for in the past from Yoongi, over the nine months of your pregnancy he seemed to open up; become a whole different person.

“God, you’re a smooth one, you know that?” You laughed, glancing up at him as he, too, chuckled in response, a slight shrug of his shoulders thrown in.

“You never know, I might give Seokjin a run for his money and start telling dad jokes. I’m really getting into the spirit of the whole thing.” You shook your head at Yoongi. His jokes could be funny at times, maybe get a laugh out of you here and there, but dad jokes?

You sighed, your eyes settling on the large swelling of your stomach. You smiled to yourself, trying to picture what this child could possibly look like. Whether they’d be a boy or a girl, or whether they’d look more like you or like Yoongs.

“Dad jokes or not, I’m just glad I get to share this experience with you. I love you.”
