Let’s talk about the pictures in Donald’s houseboat, shall we?

First of all: Look at these adorable two pictures! One sleeping Donald with three baby eggs and Uncle Donald with baby HDL, all clothed in red:

Then we have this wonderful pic which is obviously inspired by one of Carl Barks’ famous oil paintings:

And then we have... wait. WAIT.

WAIT A MINUTE.

An unknown male... pilot? Posing infront of an engine that really, really does look like a plane?

COULD IT BE.... IS THAT ...

Huey, Dewey and Louie’s dad? Della’s boyfriend/husband?

Even the scarf he is wearing looks suspiciously familar to Della’s scarf...

I gave HDL’s dad another shot. Now he’s an opportunistic gentleman thief. His personality is most like Louie’s and his relationship with Della was a lot like Scrooge and Goldie. They were in and out of each other’s lives a lot over the years, sometimes rivals and sometimes lovers, until one encounter resulted in Della getting pregnant. He disappeared mysteriously before she had the chance to tell him she was expecting triplets. No one has seen him in years.
