When I was doing research on the children, grandchildren and great-children of Alice, I noticed Alice's Wonderland Bakery as some parallels to Disney's 1951 film of Alice in Wonderland. There might have been other parallels and hidden references to the film that I might have missed, so feel free to point out what those are. As well as guess that these moments parallel

SO I WROTE AN ALICE’S WONDERLAND BAKERY FIC!!!

This show is so cute, but when I got the chance to watch the first episodes of season two, one episode stood out to me immediately, that episode being the first half of episode one!

This episode quickly solidified it’s place as my favorite episode of the series so far for several reasons. It focuses on Hattie (descendant of the Mad Hatter for those unfamiliar) and him celebrating Tanabata with his dad and friends.

This fic takes place during the time that Alice, Fergie, and Rosa are searching for the wishes, but it’s Hattie’s side of events. So a missing scene, I suppose!

So I’m sure by this point you can tell I’m a fan of George Salazar. He’s the reason I got into superstore in the first place, and he plays Dad Hatter in Alice’s Wonderland Bakery, which is who this character is!

I love how silly this character is, as well as all of the characters in this show. I’d honestly recommend it, if you’re cool with watching a show that’s not meant for your age group, anyway.
