today we were talking as a family abt how my little brother will not listen to people bc he thinks he already knows everything and I said something about how he’s gotta wait at least nine more years before he’s allowed to think that and dad laughed bc he understood that I am 9 years older than my brother and I was saying that I too think I already know everything and dad said if I was any other kid he wouldn’t have let me get away with it but circumstances being what they are

My dad was heading off to the shop so he asked me if I wanted anything. I asked him for some pop tarts but he didn't know what they were or where they kept them in the shop. So he told me that he went to the shop and stopped a lady and asked her "Do you know where they keep the tarts" and she just gave him the dirtiest look and walked away.
