So, how about a BMC Hercules AU? Maybe Jeremy as Herc and the Squip as Phil, so that they have the whole mentor/student relationship, Micheal as Pegasus and maybe also Christine as Meg? but idk who Hades would be
Oooh that’s perfect! Jeremy as a super clumsy but amazingly strong demigod who’s also super awkward and just wants to be a real hero, I love it. X3c Actually, with Meg in mind, I take your Christine as Meg and raise you Brooke as Meg, since she fits the attitude and even her backstory kind of, and I KNOW there are people out there who ship Jeremy and Brooke (I gotta admit, I DID think they were kinda cute together) ((And YES, boyf riend shippers, I’m sure Michael would fit as Meg too, but let’s try to spread the shipping out a bit, yeah?))
Also, Squip as Phil. Beautiful. Be more heroic, Jeremy! XD And giving Jeremy advice from the sidelines ‘Easy, easy, watch the teeth! That’s right, bait him in, lead with your left, you- NO! You’re OTHER left!’ And all he wants is to train a hero so wonderful that they’ll make a constellation out of him and in the end he gets it and that’s so freaking sweet!! X3c
And Hades…yeah. We’d have to use our imaginations here, like maybe Rich’s Squip could be Hades, or hell, we could reach into the ensemble territory and make Madeline or Dustin Kropp Hades. I mean, they have no character so why not? Or we could go REALLY interesting and make someone like Rich Hades, mostly because Hades has some GREAT lines, and I could see Rich saying all of them, being the little hothead he is XD.
I know I’m not the only one here who likes the Squip when he’s actually nice and not an asshole/villain. So, since AUs are my specialty, I’ve decided to compile a Master List of all the possible AUs that can involve the Squip being kinda nice to Jeremy, as well as a central character. And don’t worry, these Squip and Jeremy relationships are SOLELY PLATONIC. No shipping here.
BMC Digimon AU - basically just an excuse to take the Squip Squad’s apparent Squips and make them Digimon with weird but cool Digi-lutions based on what they look like (like a Keanu Reeves based Digimon…imagine it…). Has potential for some good friendship bonding since Digivolving requires friendship and love to even work, and all the Squad can get the Crests even!
Fantasy/Medieval AU - This prompt involves a semi-human Squip. He was cursed by a magical someone to be ageless and immortal, forced to wander the world. The only way to lift the curse was to learn to care for others cause Squip isn’t exactly a nice guy. Long story short, he winds up being the protector of the young Prince Jeremy, and slowly grows to care for him as he grows up.
Iron Giant or Lilo & Stitch AU - Or basically an Alien!Squip AU, involving Squip coming down from space, meeting Jeremy, and learning about humans and stuff, kinda like my ET AU It’s From the Stars (shamless fic rec)
Annie AU - Because I am OBSESSED with the whole idea that the Squip is just a stern and cold person that just needs a friend to love and care for him. Millionare Squip invites an orphan to spend Christmas with him for a publicity stunt and winds up with Jeremy who slowly melts his heart. (Have I mentioned that I love Dad!Squip? Cause I do)
Pete’s Dragon AU - Basically a universe where Squips are protectors and guides of children. Jeremy has his Squip cause he’s a poor lost orphan and Squip stays with him until he finds his family. Since I haven’t watched the reboot, Squip runs on the same rules as the original, meaning he can turn invisible and he can also speak to Jeremy out loud or telepathically.

Frozen AU - I’m surprised I haven’t seen a version of this anywhere. Anyway, Squip and Jeremy are brothers and princes of the kingdom and Squip has either the ice powers or electrical/storm based powers and nearly kills Jeremy with them when they’re kids. After Jeremy gets his memories erased, Squip cuts himself off from Jeremy, becoming cold and stern, taking conceal don’t feel a little TOO seriously. But then his powers are revealed and he runs away, prompting Jeremy to go find him. Featuring Michael as Kristoph, Christine as Olaf, and I’m not sure who Hans would be here…I’m leaning towards Chloe… But yeah, Squip and Jeremy as brothers; something that could be quite interesting, especially since Squip is so cold here because he just doesn’t wanna hurt his little brother. In other words, GIVE 👏 ME 👏 VULNERABLE👏 SQUIP👏
Megamind AU - This one’s a bit of a stretch, so bear with me. Squip is a super villain and all that good stuff (hell he has the wardrobe for it) and after managing to defeat the city’s hero he goes up against (still don’t know who that would be), he finds he’s bored and then he meets Jeremy while in disguise and forms a friendship with him and learns that being good is actually kinda nice.
Undertale AU - Starring Jeremy as Frisk and the Squip as Flowey/Asriel - HEAR ME OUT!! This basically came from the concept of ‘What if the Squip was a human before he became a computer?’ I don’t have the whole story fleshed out for this, but the Asriel/Flowey part is basically that when Jeremy was VERY little, he fell to the Underground and Squip found him and took him in. Jeremy lived with Squip for a while and Squip had never cared about another being other than himself before and grows fond of this boy he found. But then Jeremy gets very sick and Squip is forced to take Jeremy back to his village where he can be properly treated, but of course, the villagers get the wrong idea and mortally injure Squip and he dies and becomes the evil flower, full of bitterness because of what being nice got him in the end. And then years later, Jeremy as a teen falls back down and Squip becomes the voice in his head but deep down he still cares for Jeremy and wants him to come back and stay with him. That’s all I have sooo we’ll see if that can go anywhere.

Heathers AU - *deep breath* Jeremy as Veronica, Squip as JD - PUT THE PITCHFORKS DOWN THIS ISN’T GOING WHERE YOU THINK IT’S GOING!! I said no shipping and I meant it! This AU hasn’t really been fleshed out yet, but it basically goes like this. Jeremy is in high school but Squip is an ADULT. He’s kind of a wandering Jack of all Trades so he’s been hired at Jeremy’s high school as a maintenance or technology guy or something. Jeremy just kinda bumps into him at school for a minute and doesn’t think anything of it. But when Jeremy’s jumped by Rich and Jake going home from school, Squip steps in to help. After that, Squip and Jeremy form a little friendship or mentor/student relationship as Squip gives Jeremy a few hints on how to defend himself. Then the party happens and the same shit goes down, and Jeremy’s stumbling home, drunk and high as all hell and happens to run into Squip. Squip takes him to his house and puts him to bed in a guest room and Jeremy drunkenly mumbles about how he’s gonna die tomorrow, and since the Squip is JD, meaning he’s kinda insane, starts doing the whole killing thing with Jeremy through the same trickery (I find it kinda sad why all this happens since JD does care for Veronica; ‘Veronica look, I’ve murdered for you!’ Kinda like how Squip was willing to Squip the entire school for Jeremy. ‘Jeremy look, I’ve brainwashed these kids for you!’) Anyway, it ends the same way, Squip blows up and Jeremy’s actually kinda sad to see him go but everything ends good and yes, Jeremy ends up with Michael (who was Martha for this).

For ITH I kinda thought of a similar concept to the first game with Sonny basically being a spirit sent to the barrio to ‘play a role’ like in the first game and with amnesia. I call it Spirit Sonny AU and yes it has the same ending as the first game.
As for BMC, I have a few different ideas… (spoilers below for like…all the PMD games)
The first one is basically like one of those ‘Squip becomes human’ AUs but with a twist. Post-musical, Jeremy finds the Squip as a human, passed out on the ground. But he doesn’t recognize him and Squip doesn’t remember that he used to be a supercomputer. So Jeremy helps him and Squip forms a bond with him and the Squip Squad while they also try to figure out where Squip came from and who he is. You can imagine the angst that comes when Squip remembers what he did and when Jeremy realizes the truth :(
Another is based off PMD Time/Darkness/Sky with Jeremy as the Hero and Squip as Grovyle, with the two of them having come from the future to stop Planet Paralysis and Jeremy lost his memory and meets up with Michael and we have all the adventures and feels that come with it. I feel like other Squips could be the bad guys here, like Spam could be Dusknoir and Post could be Celebi or something like that :/
The other is based on Super Mystery Dungeon (I don’t care what anyone says, I love this game, even if it is hard as sin to beat) and Jeremy wakes up with no memory and runs into Squip (who’s Nuzleaf here) who takes him in and enrolls him in school, and I’m thinking the partner this time could be Christine because she has the same energy and talkative-ness and plus this means she’s secretly Mew and that’s INCREDIBLY fitting. (Jeremy can still meet Michael and become friends with him at school). But I think this one’s my favorite cause we got Squip being controlled and after Jeremy had started to like him and see him as a dad he betrays him and the ANGST that can come from that!! And then Squip has a change of heart and comes to help Jeremy and we get more feels and Dad!Squip and it’s just so freaking cute!
You like dad!squip, right? How about the classic, I've got a bad feeling about you, but my dad has for some reason befriended you and now we're forced to spend time together until you're an accidental father figure to me Human AU?
Ooooh interesting! (that reminds I think of a fic someone wrote where it was BMC except the Squip is a human dating Jeremy’s dad, which was…odd to say the least) That sounds like it could be adorable and hilarious, with Squip being on the serious side and being super cool despite being dad age and Jeremy slowly breaks his shell and Squip gives Jeremy advice on how to talk to Christine. Maybe at first he kinda acts like a jerk but then after seeing just how insecure Jeremy is he apologizes and softens up a bit cause Jeremy’s a good kid. Many little adventures and bonding moments later, they become almost inseparable X3c
Usnavi and dad!Squip chatting and drinking coffee while their teens run wild in the background. The tired parental figure club.
Hahahahaha yep. Being a parental figure is not easy, you need time to just relax, drink coffee, and share your struggles with the group. Usnavi vents about how he loves Sonny but the kid has a knack for getting in trouble since he always wants to go out and do activist stuff, which is great and all but can be dangerous and Squip just goes on about how Jeremy’s anxiety eats at him all the time and even when Squip calms him down, Jeremy’s paranoia just goes right back up afterward so it feels like he’s a supercomputer fighting a losing battle.
Bonus points if Washington is there to with Alexander running around as well.
Okay, so we can all agree that Nice/Soft!Squip is the Best Squip, and this has been whirling around in my brain for a while...so hear me out:
BMC Les Miserables AU starring Squip as Valjean and Jeremy as Cosette.
So we got Squip who was arrested for reasons and when he’s on parole he’s given the chance to redeem himself (maybe he came across Christine who showed him the light with her pure goodness)
Meanwhile, we got Mr. Heere who is struggling with being poor and not having a wife, and he eventually becomes very sick
Squip finds him and brings him to a hospital, but it’s too late for him and asks for Squip to take care of his son, who he sent to live at an inn since he couldn’t provide for him
Squip does that and adopts Jeremy as his own, taking him away from the abusive inn
Years later, Jeremy’s grown up and he eventually runs into Michael, who’s part of a group of student rebels, and it’s love at first sight.
Still unsure about the Eponine part; I’m caught between Rich (cause I know RichxMichael is a thing) and Brooke (maybe in reverse having her pine for Jeremy instead of Michael) but I kinda want Rich to be Gavroche cause of the whole ‘don’t fuck with little people’ song. But then again, we don’t HAVE to have anyone to be Eponine; you’d be surprised how many movie versions of Les Mis cut out the Eponine side story.
Anyway, Squip finds out about Michael and goes to the barricade to protect him and ends up saving his life
Now later, Jeremy and Michael are married but Squip is finally nearing the end of his life, and Michael finds out Squip saved him and the two go and see Squip one last time
Squip gives Jeremy a letter confessing his past and his real father before he finally dies and is at peace :(
