Heck yes, I love dad Stephen!!
♡ He’s already protective, but add me with his child and he’s even worse. Watching extensively what I do and how I’m eating. Monitors everything and he has already read every parenting book. He knows what he’s doing, and at every doctor’s visit, it’s like so many different conversations. Just wants our baby to be perfectly healthy and happy.
♡ He tries to be there for the kids as much as he can. He’s such a good father and supportive and loving. He’d drop everything for them in a second, and they are literally spoiled rotten by us and their pops XD He just doesn’t want to make a mistake, and he wants to be the best father he can be for our children.
♡ He reads to the kids every night, something that started with Melanie of course. The two of them both look forward to it, and neither of them can really sleep without him seeing them off to bed. Although, on some nights, they don’t want to hear the same old same old. These are the nights that they want to hear his stories, anything that he has. Twisted up, of course, but always the same. I love listening in to those stories just to hear which one he’s on today.
♡ The day that we decided that Melanie was going to be going to public school was kind of hard. Stephen didn’t mind the idea, so long as we were careful. And always had the idea in the back of our minds that if something happened we’d pull them out and just like we always are. He’s always cautious, but him having to let go of them was too much. Let alone Melanie and Quinten both were kind of emotional leaving them for the day. It took me all of my willpower to make sure Stephen didn’t summon a portal to just “check up on them”.
♡ No one messes with his kids. They just don’t, or they will face is wrath.
♡ Lots and lots of dad jokes. He’s the dad joke king sometimes, and him and Tony together just makes it so much worse. He knows I hate it, so a part of me feels like it’s purposeful.
♡ Also the dad to brag about every achievement his child has ever had. Saves literally everything to show to people just to show how smart and talented and amazing his kids are. You’ll just know instantly how loved they are by how he talks about them.
♡ Plays all kinds of different music for both the kids when I was still pregnant with them. Constantly kept saying that it’s so they’ll come out cultured in some way which only makes me laugh. But I think it’s adorable, especially when he talks to them in such a sweet voice and I just love it a lot. He’s such a sweet man.
