I've been rewatching some of Truly Bedrock for inspiration, and the absolute galaxy-brain-ness of the Vault Heist arc hit me like a truck. For the record, the sequence of events is as follows:
>Zloy builds a bank vault to try and scam DadCraft out of money >DadCraft pays to put his money in the vault and pays for insurance >DadCraft hires Beardstone to steal his own money from the vault because the insurance will return twice the amount >Foxy assembles a team with Beardstone and Gruva to break into the vault. >Zloy hires Silent to guard the vault >Silent agrees to help the robbers break into the vault because they said he couldn't do it >Silent agrees on the condition that they kick Foxy out of his own team >The team recruits Mister Onion, who is just Foxy but french >The team tries to break into the vault but fails and gives up >EVERY MEMBER OF THE TEAM SECRETLY TRIES TO BREAK INTO THE VAULT LATER AND SUCCEEDS >They are now all stuck in the vault together >THERE IS NO MONEY IN THE VAULT >Zloy lets them all out, no one knows where the money went >On the trial about the insurance, Foxy (who also broke into the vault later and also got stuck) sentences Zloy to pay out the insurance or jail time. >(Zloy later doesn't pay out and locks himself in his own vault)
I love this spy vs spy nonsense, I'm so proud of our idiot crew
