New looks I made for Pixlriffs, Lyarrah and I for this week's Hermitcraft Recap Awards video! hope you like them!

Grian is a fledgling Watcher, and as such, has the Watcher equivalent of baby eyes. His eyes are nearly pure black, as Watcher eyes (at least, the physical ones on their face) only turn purple in their teen years.

As such, because Watchers, like most species, see their children as cute, they see Grian's eyes as especially cute. And Grian knows this, and is completely unafraid to use puppy dog eyes to get what he wants. It's why the Watchers let him chill on Hermitcraft instead of dragging him back to the void, he used the puppy dog eyes.

The only watcher who is unaffected by this is Pix, who was the Watcher sent to observe Grian during his time on Hermitcraft. The other members of the recap are there because Zloy goes where Pix goes and is Lyrra's mentor and thus not allowed to leave her alone

on a more serious note, I feel like the start of the new season is the perfect time to shout out the recap. I'm not going to lie it's something I've really looked forward to every week and a big part of my hermitcraft experience. I love the little jokes, quips and references ought I'm so happy it's back I missed it just as much as the actual hermitcraft tbh <3

Ly's Tabletop Game Masterpost

Hello! This is a post summarizing all the games I currently have available over at lyarrah.itch.io

All of these are homemade by me and many feature illustrations from my friends!

They're all built to be playable IRL (you might have to print some stuff out) or via screenshare on discord and such.

And... they're all FREE! (you're allowed to pay me if you want to though)

Doomscrying

2~6 players or solitaire

60-90 minutes

minimum equipment: two d10 or one d100, two d4, a coin, a way to write notes

This is a goofy little dice roller about witches who would rather be pondering their orbs than doing their magical chores.

Look into your crystal ball to help recharge enough magic to actually get your chores done, or find a way to talk your roommates into doing them for you!

2-5 hours

minimum equipment: a dozen or so d6s, something to write with

Not AUniverse is a TTRPG built in the Havoc Engine, meaning you roll a lot of d6s to cause a lot of chaos

More importantly, it is how to hurl your friends' favorite characters into the weirdest crossover fanfiction scenarios you can think of!

This tabletop system lets players take advantage of what makes their favorite character that character, giving strength to decisions that keep them In Character. It's designed for a messy one shot, not an ongoing campaign.

Did you miss out on being a cool goth kid who owned all the right clothes back in the 00s? Do you just miss hanging at the mall?

GOTH QUEST 200X is a ridiculous board game about running around the mall, dodging security guards and prepping for the Big Concert. Fill your bag with cool clothes and other nonsense then get dressed up without filling your loser meter!

Fog of Yarrr - Pirate board game with minesweeper inspiration, be the first to locate the legendary treasure!

Grab Your Nuts - Fast paced card game inspired by Snap. Squirrel away enough food for the winter before your opponent gets all the cards!

Moon Shot - A short dice roller about risk vs reward in rocket building.

Science Kitchen - You're a high school science teacher stuck in a cooking competition. Can your skills help you in the kitchen?

Mega Munchies - Get out of Costco before the edibles kick in and you buy everything in sight (but still finish your grocery shopping!)
