No lore yet, just vibes.

He might fall into an ectoplasmic tar-pit... and then get hit by lightning. Idk. Cursed stone gateway? Gets lost in the veil and stumbles out ten years later? Whatever will be most funny and or angsty.

Quick question, why do you call them Dae? From what I know, the deer version of Centaur is Cervitaur. No disrespect or judgement, just curious to learn about other potential names.

I'll answer these both at the same time for the sake of convenience.

Dae ("Day") = Deer Fae because my cervitaurs in the AU are ✨magical✨ and have a seat at one of the many, many branches of the larger Fae Court. 

A Faun is similar or sometimes synonymous to a Satyr: half man half goat (or in this case half deer). Though not to be mistaken with a fawn which is a baby deer.

in your bnha deer/faun au do you have something that would mark izuku as "less" than the rest of the characters like how in canon it was his quirklessness in the au would it be something like his adult antlers are small or he keeps his spots as a grown deer?

Yeah actually! Not so much "less" but definitely different. I decided to make Izuku a Fallow deer which are slightly smaller than Mule deer (the average type of cervitaur in their area) and unlike the Mulie, they maintain their fawn spots into adulthood.

He gets picked on a little bit because he's smaller than the other kids and his spots don’t fade as they grow up but overall it's well understood that he'll keep his spots as an adult just like his mom. Kids are still little shits tho. Magic-wise he's a late bloomer in reference to his canon quirklessness but he does develop his own magic without external aid. Of course, he goes missing before anyone figures out what it is.
