3:12 AM. Time is now a construct.
*SCREAMS AT THE HEAVENS* Ahem, okay. I wanted my first drawing with Quinn in it the be a hefty one, so, naturally, I spend the entire day making a labyrinth of jellyfish, shown to him by none other than Kadota, my asshat of a stygian. Kadota likes visiting Quinn's dreams a lot, but... There's an odd urgency to these meetings that Quinn isn't sure about... Quinn, Kadota and this artwork belong to me. None of them can be used for any purpose without my explicit permission. Quinn was designed and sold to me by sheeplymade The Daema closed species belongs to sheeplymade The Stygian closed species belongs to Zoomutt
Daëma
A friend’s OC !
Gud ol’ Daëma and her potions, playing tricks on everyone... “For science”.
First of two really late KTS Races images. These were supposed to be finished and uploaded last month but I got sidetracked working on KTS, so I've finished and uploaded them now. As such they are included in the September Patreon Rewards pack, not the October one. Anyway here is the Daema! The Daema are one of the subraces of Dark Elf society. Due to a peculiar quirk of Dark Elven biology, when a Dark Elf mates with a sentient creature not of it's own race, the product of that union is still just another Dark Elf, they're are no half-breeds like in other races. However, over time if a large enough population of another race interbreeds with a community of Dark Elves, the resulting offspring can build up enough recessive traits that a new stable sub-race emerges. There are several of these known, and Daema are one of them. The Daema are taller, and much broader/heavier than the average Dark Elf. They have large horns sprouting from their heads and thick semi-prehensile tails. They are believed to live almost as long as Dark Elves, but have a much lower life expectancy as most of them are slaves, working as manual labour, or disposable shock troops. As a result of this, there is quite a bit of animosity between Dark Elves and Daema, and slave rebellions are not exactly uncommon.
En las noches todavía sigo llorando y extrañando tu regreso. Regresa, es lo único que pido. Y si regresas hoy. Mi corazón le habrá ganado la apuesta a mi razón.
Claudia Madueño. Tú.
Get Involved: Dartmouth Alumni in Entertainment, Media and Arts
Hello dear Dartmouth folks!
Thanks so much for getting in touch about being involved with DAEMA NYC. We'll be having our first meet on Wednesday, January 29th from 6pm to 10pm. Location as of now will be the Bowery Bar and Grill (40 East 4th Street btw Lafayette and Bowery). Also it would be nice to set up a leadership group to start to plan and organize future events and maybe even projects. These are the major roles for starting off:
Two East Coast Chapter Vice Chairs
East Coast Chapter Communications Chair (Responsible for keeping minutes and submitting them to the board of directors for all chapter meetings)
East Coast Chapter Events Chair
East Coast Chapter Film & TV Chair
East Coast Chapter Music Chair
East Coast Chapter Theater Chair
And it would be great to already start brainstorming ideas for what we could do with DAEMA - what would you like to see happen other than monthly get togethers and how to bring together and create a community here in New York. Here are some ideas to get the ball rolling: creating a movie night, organizing an evening to see a play, make our own version of Wired - put up a play in 24hrs or make a movie in 48 hrs.
