Daemon discovery of the day: when I’m truly furious, Myrel steps up we make DAMN sure everyone in earshot knows it

Hey Daemians
If the roles were reversed, where you were the daemon & your daemon(s) were human, do you think you would have the same form as them? If not, what form do you think you’d be?
I feel like I’d end up as a Flamingo if I were Hida or Myrel’s daemon.
Hida: I’m not sure I like all this new attention we’re getting...
Myrel, head flung back, wings spread wide: LOVE ME!!
I haven’t gotten into my Daemonism in a hot minute, but I love imagining being gossipy bitches with my birds. Myrel’s all about the rumor mill’s latest, while Hida judges and grudges.
Myrel’s lording it over me that after feeling mopey all day I only felt better once I socialized at my DnD session
How did you find out you had multiple daemons? I think it’s super cool ppl are talking about multiple daemons but how do you know you have more?
For me, before I came to the conclusion of two daemons, I just thought I was really stuck between two forms for Hida. Although, he’s been a barred owl for as long as I have known him, so to have the violet-backed starling form vying so strongly against an identity that was a decade old seemed odd. It wasn’t that the first form didn’t fit anymore - I’m still very much the observant introvert Hida stands for - more that this other form also suited the other side of my characteristics. The side that strives to socialize and be loudly creative from underneath my depression and anxiety. It definitely helped that there were other Daemians around here that were exploring multiple daemons so that the idea wasn’t so foreign.
All that combined finally gave Myrel the platform they needed to define themselves in my consciousness as a separate daemon identity from the original. I’m very glad to have both Hida and Myrel with me, as together we’re a happy, balanced little flock.
