Eisenhorn Trilogy: Hereticus Interior Art - II
by Tazio Bettin
Cherubael from last year, it never really got much attention, though I was very happy how it turned out. Maybe this pretty baby can find some appreciation of Tumblr? Also consider following my new shiny blog for more 40k art, and other cool stuff. 🤭 If you like my art, consider tipping! MY TIP JARS HERE ❤️🩹

DAEMONHOST!
A small piece from my sketching studies))
Yeah, there’s a Daemonhost aboard the Morningstar?
So we were down on Atoma, yeah? We found a Daemonhost, as one does, and we went around it. Until a mutie charged in, grabbed our ogryn by the collar, and hurled him into the Daemonhost.
“Oh, here we karking go,” I was thinking, as the Daemonhost rose into the air. But then it just…didn’t attack?
It kept saying, “I’m not evil, I’m not,” and followed us around. We (REDACTED BY ORDER OF THE INQUISITION) and finished the mission.
The Daemonhost was still there after the storm raptor landed, and still wasn’t attacking any of us. Our Psyker tried to ask it why it wasn’t attacking us, and it just responded, “F*** Erebus.”
I don’t know how it pronounced the asterisks, but it did. Anyway, we tossed it so of the recovered rations and hopped into the storm raptor and got back to the Morningstar. Only to find it up there with us.
We managed to put it in a big box by Hadron’s area, but everyone is ignoring it and I don’t think we can just keep giving it rations. But it also isn’t hostile and it doesn’t have the usual adverse reactions to our Zealot’s artifact and glowy light thingymajig.
Should we try to purge it here on the ship, or should we leave it alone and hope someone else deals with it?
Thank you for your inquiry, Reject.
What you do with the daemonhost is not my decision. The Mourningstar is a rogue trader vessel currently under the control of Inquisitor Grendel and Interrogator Rannick of the Holy Orders of the Emperor’s Inquisition.
In that note, report it to Interrogator Rannick, as he will most likely be interested in the situation.
My personal suggestion is to execute it. It is tainted by the warp and should therefore be eliminated. Just… try to take it to an area of the ship you are allowed to be in and that will result in the minimal amount of damage should it fight back. You wouldn’t want to accidentally depressurize the hull because you (or the daemonhost) accidentally blew a hole in the side of the ship.
I recommend the use of shotguns, as they provide a powerful shot while usually not having the power to penetrate bulkheads.
Endith, a daemonhost formerly in Inquisitorial company, but now a girlboss of her own!
My friends keep filling my head with their OCs and I can't help but draw 'em.
I rarely draw gifts for ppl, but this one was for my friend's (https://vk.com/oberon_blyat) birthday! These oc's are cool :з
