A bit of practice with photoshop! We think this turned out pretty good, though some of the edges could have met much more seamlessly, and the perspective needs some improving.

I thought it would be neat to show the different forms Narsinah has taken.
Sinny CIE on November 12th, 2009 (she's almost 10), and settled in early 2013 (we don't have a solid date because a lot was happening and we didn't notice until later). Although Sinny took many forms in that time, these were our favorite or most comfortable.
We false settled our sophomore year as a spotted bat. It was probably 11 months we took that form. Our fancy form was the fire salamander, which Sinny would take when we wanted to impress someone. The horse is a Percheron, a large draft breed. Sinny only used that when we needed to be brave, something big and intimidating. Even today, sometimes she'll slip into her borzoi or lynx form, just to be bigger for a change.
Juxtaposing daemons
A huge, 6 1/2 foot body-builder type guy with a bumblebee or a hummingbird daemon
A beautiful plus-sized lady with the most delicate Italian greyhound
A lithe, athletic gymnast with a cumbersome panda daemon
The clumsiest person on earth always side-by-side with a leopard
A skinny, body-conscious teenage girl with a hippopotamus daemon
A sumo wrestler with a mouse-like hamster daemon (if you're not familiar, they are less than two inches long and frigging quick)
A peaceful Buddhist monk with a terrifying saltwater crocodile
We thought about this earlier today and came up with a few ideas! Love the concept of a daemon being totally at odds with the appearance of their human.
Please add to this list!
So, me and Bear are getting seriously. Bored.
We wanted to have something to look forward to everyday, and so are completing a 30 day song challenge posted by a friend on facebook.
Day 1: a song you like with a colour in the title.
Perhaps our favourite is "Red Right Hand" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. We heard this first at our sister's school production of Don Quixote and instantly thought it was simultaneously bizzarre and a great song.
Enjoy!
We are back
With a short post on the new His Dark Materials program (having watched it only a couple of days ago).
Fantastic acting and beautiful CGI aside, its certainly served to rekindle my own relationship with Bear, which had begun to fray just a little with the responsibilities of everyday life.
It feels amazing to be back to our old selves, and we look forward to watching more HDM!
For @blushfur and Bryoria the coyote, with the colour green!
If you guys would like to change anything, let us know!
Daemians
If daemons suddenly became corporeal, what would be the first thing you would do?
Me and Bear would spend as much time alone together as we could, probably go on our favourite walk and watch YouTube, cuddled up together.
Though we don't really want to admit it, we'd also probably show off a little.
More for Daemians!
What is your favourite thing about your settled/comfort/favourite form?
For me, the best thing about Berwaldter's form is the howling. Sounds fantastic when we're singing along to music!
I also love his size: big enough to make me feel secure and confident, without being massively inconvenient to project.
