Hi, dear Frenchie friends. Thank you for all your kind thoughts and messages. Here's my health update: I'm back on Apoquel (yay!) and benadryl (and CADI is still in my system, I guess) but results from Apoquel are slower than they were the first time I took it. 🍄 My hoomans can't decide if I'm on the verge of another UTI or if I'm just being an incorrigible Frenchie because I keep leaving them yellow surprises indoors. 🙄 I was prescribed Duoxo PS foam as a supplement to tub time, but while @suitablegirl appreciates the "convenience", it's nowhere near as effective as getting actual medicated baths every 72 hours, which is what my dermatologist in D.C. recommended when I was having a bad flare up. That also required sanitizing the floors, my bed, my toys, my harnesses, my clothes, and all other soft surfaces to avoid cross contamination, so it's a laborious process, but it helped my skin. 🌴 Currently, I am only allowed outside to potty because I have a huge new lesion on my chest, but the vet said I can play outside if I'm wearing "pajamas that cover my body". Anyone know where I can find some that would protect my poor belly? I can't wait for my medicines to start working so I can get back to my job with the neighborhood watch. 🙏 Thank you for being so compassionate and supportive. Frenchie health and Apoquel are both hugely controversial subjects; it's wonderful to have an online community that shares vs shames. 💗 💗 💗 💗 #DaenerysTheFrenchie #buhi #frenchie #frenchbulldog #puppia #puppiaharness #allergydog #frenchieproblems (at Venice Beach)
