October 2023: Assorted Garden Fun

I ordered these daffodil bulbs from Gibbs Gardens for my queen's birthday in Spring this year but the bulbs just arrived today because they only ship the bulbs when you should be planting them which is Fall. These 300 bulbs are comprised of three different collections - Accents of Yellow and Orange, Hills and Dales Naturalized & Jim's Fragrance. The first two collections are mixes of early/mid/late Spring blooming daffodils while the Fragrance collection is all late bloomers:

Another Work-In-Progress. I accidentally forgot this one existed.

Went out and worked in the garden some. Azalea bushes are doing great, so is the stonecrop, hydrangeas, and coral bells. Planted the lupines and columbines and dug up the grass that had taken over the front garden. Plus I dug up all the daffodil bulbs so I can replant them in a better arrangement for next year. Tomorrow I'll be getting the last of the weeds out and planting Dahlias and gladiolus bulbs along with the rest of the lupines. I'll trim back the ivy and might go pick up some plant packs too.
