I kind of want to see Feyre's reaction to Rhys telling Azriel to stay away. She was like...the first one to ship it.

(Not saying I dont understand WHY he did, btw. Obviously Az doesn't think of Elain as an object, but he doesnt counter what Rhys said about the "deserving her" thing. In fact, from his thoughts, we know it's the opposite. He *doesnt* think he deserves her, he just wanted to steal a moment. Rhys isnt aware of that because of Az's "icy mask")

Yeah I mean obviously from a technical standpoint I understand why Rhys did it but I wish he had asked more questions instead of just assuming, also when Az mentioned that maybe it chose wrong as a friend of his for over 500yrs I would at least have the decency to ask my friend why he feels that way.

Coming from a man that whisked a bride away, it is kind of rich. You would think considering his former circumstances he would take a second to see the bigger picture as Feysand had. 

It felt to me like he was selfishly trying to protect his political needs over his friend. And that frustrates me because Rhys has gotten his happy ending and everything he ever wanted, and no matter the choices, Az and Cass have always had his back. Why can’t he do the same?

Why couldn’t he take a minute to actually talk to his brother? I hope he gets a book to the head from Nesta when she finds out.

Okay, a) your liveblogging is the best thing ever, thank you so much and b) I'd forgotten exactly how MUCH of an asshole Tamlin has been. I feel like it's been so long that fandom has started to soften the edges but like. Wow. The dude is just...the worst (*insert Thor speaking about Hela gif here*)

I think people decided that because the abusers (Ness and Tam) threw themselves pity-parties in ACOFAS that means they’re wholly redeemed which is breathtakingly dangerous mentality and why people end up staying in abusive relationships later on. 

I think Tamlin and Nesta will both get redemption arcs and address those negative aspects in their personality, but I also wanted to highlight the stuff they need to earn redemption from :)

I think Tamlin is self absorbed and the abuse comes from an anger management space, so those are the main things he needs to work on.

Your monster au is so cool! So how would the akuma thing work here? Does Marinette just naturally have the power to purify them? (Also, does she have two arms or four, because I saw both in your tag :) )

yeah probably. i still havent thought how would that work but yeah she would have some powers to clean them.

Ah about that xD Yeah, she has 4 arms now! the 2 arms design was an old one. The new design was thanks to @clmeeni . Marinette still can hide the other pair of arms (like Stitch lol) but is a bit uncomfortable. As Ladybug she cant hide them.

@dagypsygirl I get what you're saying too and agree that Jane would have been completely out of place in thor3, but that's also because it was written knowing she wouldn't be in it anyway. Which is fine, not saying she should have been in it and the movie itself is remarkably good regardless, but the audience reaction to the lack of her makes me...sad. Also, I think the general mcu audience (including me) doesn't keep up with AoS, which is a shame, because those characters need to be at the forefront. I had no idea Jemma existed. I like Christine too but she's, well, focused in biology, and that field doesn't have nearly the same gender discrepancy as math-based fields do. That's why it upsets me. Math, physics, compsci, anything remotely code or program based and devoted to algorithms--they're just... male. And 99% of the time they're portrayed that way everywhere. So all the people who trash Jane for being boring or weak or whatever...idk it just pains me that this character THEY CHANGED into an astrophysicist (and didn't keep as a nurse like in the comics) is being called boring just because she was never involved with combat the way nearly everyone else in the movies were. That isn't referring to her general personality, by the way, but moreso toward the fact that only the super physically active women are seen as more dynamic and interesting.

What kinds of artwork do you make?

Mostly traditional but sometimes fiddle around with PS.

What's your favorite thing about creating artwork?

I love to experiment and try new things. I'm trying to express the ideas in my head and put them onto the canvas or sketchbook, and I can't resist using many different mediums to do so.

What's one of your greatest strengths when it comes to creating artwork?

I cannot judge myself well, but according to people around me, my stuff is always bright and colourful.

What's something you've always wanted to try your hand at, but haven't had a chance yet?

I've almost nothing digitally. (Except for csss)

If you are new to the Captain Swan Big Bang, what made you decide to sign up? What are you looking forward to?

I thought it'd be interesting to do something like this and collaborate with other people, and I'd say...the process of reading the story, talking to the writer about it, and trying to illustrate it.

He's described as pale UtM, and tan/golden in acomaf after he gets out. Someone mentioned (and I agree) that he's most likely half Greek because of the Illyrian thing. So, broadly speaking, yes he's 'white' because he's not dark skinned but not exactly typical American boy, y'know?

yeah i see him as Mediterranean looking and that’s what i tell people if they try to say “but he was tan in...” like i had some anon that said they apparently “didn’t know” that some white people can tan quickly and i was just??? like i’m not 100% sure but i’m pretty sure my dad is descended from like Greece/Lebanon/Italy bc that’s just what we look like and if i go outside for like twenty minutes i’ll get two shades darker and i look yellow when i’m pale lmao but yee Greek people aren’t poc/still “white” but they aren’t like...... English/Irish/German/Swedish WHITE white. but i feel like when authors describe a character as “tan” it’s really, really broad spectrum because they could just be white tan or they could be poc tan but deciding factor is that SJM never rarely ever includes poc in her books so !!
