Started playing Inquisition 3 days ago and unintentionally had Joséphine to be the first person who told my inquisitor she wanted to believe in her as Herald. Like sure my Adaar is specifically made to romance Josephine but the story is writing itself.

Milva Adaar sees this woman, this ambassador who joined a newly formed inquisition when Leliana asked her to, first person she talks to who wasn't there when she closed the Breach and she just has to ask. Do you believe i am the Herald of Andraste ? And Josephine answers that truthfully, she is unsure, but she wants to believe it. And even if she's still unsure, some people already believe in her and that matters. And she has hope.

I love this dialogue because Josephine could just try to dissipate the inquisitor's eventual doubts about the whole thing but she doesn't, she answers truthfully.

To Milva, someone who has a complicated relationship with faith, who doesn't follow the Qun, who was raised closer to Andrastian faith but who never felt in the right place (because of multiple things, including her being Tal Vashoth and a Mage not part of any circle), this means so much. Honesty and hope placed inside her hands by an Antivan Noble of all people.

Woah-oh oh it’s Magic!

THIS SCENE. It’s just so damn lovely and I get flustered every time I play it.

“You change...everything.” That line gets me every time. It’s such a loaded phrase for him to say. Not only with him just as “Solas” but as Fen’Harel. All it takes is one person to flip someone’s world upside down. It’s interesting too, because not only does it affect him, it deeply affects Veowyn as well. Two apostate elves falling in love amidst war? What would the story books say? Is it romantic? Is it tragic, destined to fail? They can try to keep their secret for as long as they like, but they see the glances at each other, the small blush of pink that pulls across Veowyn’s face when Solas says something snarky.

oh my god, so on none of my playthroughs so far have i ever met stroud (ive always had alistair as a warden)

but i was watching inquisition videos of some choices i didn’t want to actually make lol (like leaving hawke behind :(( ) and i heard his voice for the first time and was like????? hang on who is that

it’s fuckin hubert. like. they sound exactly the fuckin same lmao, no variation from the voice actor. and stroud appears in dragon age 2 as well, so there’s like. two of the same guy basically

but im finally doing king alistair for, what, my fourth da2 playthrough, and later for my 3rd of dai, so i’ll be meeting the guy eventually lol. just. laughing. i love recognizing voice actors, it’s so satisfying
