Hajime Ueda x Odio フリクリ (Fooly Cooly)  c o l o r f u l *Part of the Daicon V virtual retrospective. These was some of the most fun I had editing. I used artistic license with these like I have never really done before. the photographs were taken and edited by me. They are both from my time in Houston. As well the 9th page was re paneled  using dif panels from separate pages. As well I retranslated all the text from English back into Japanese. This was a really fun set and I want to do more. As always thank you for your support. I hope you enjoy them as i enjoyed making them.

FLCL 02

In episode 5 of FLCL, Haruko's appearance is an homage to the Daicon movies from the early 80's. She even shouts "Daicon V!" when she makes her entrance. She is implying that she is Daicon V, as only up to Daicon IV was made.
