A cold spell had drifted into the city, and Kaneki was caught unprepared for the colder weather. He had been outside on a small coffee run, a little tired from the instant coffee that the group had in stock, so Kaneki had left to grab a small bag of dark roast at the local coffee shop. It wasn't that much, in all honesty - this coffee would be finished within a week, at the least. But it was definitely a welcome change from the instant that they kept on drinking. Caught up by his thinking, Kaneki never noticed a girl walking his way. He ended up walking straight into her. "Ah, sorry!" Kaneki exclaimed, accidentally dropping his shopping bag. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going!" The half ghoul bent down, grabbing his bag and the belongings of the girl whom he bumped into. "Here. That was completely my fault..."
