Beau let out a happy laugh as Mark ran over and pulled him into a big hug. He hugged him back and lifted, making the man’s toes barely touch the ground. Here they were, finally, as equals. The resistance had willingly taken off Mark’s cuffs, and he was hugging him for the first time, completely free.

“I’m so proud of you!” he kissed Mark’s cheek, then the corner of his mouth, then finally, sweetly, on the lips.

“Oh. Kylo Ren. Um.” his breathing grew quick and shallow, the urge to run rising as prey faced it’s predator.“N-nothing!”
