Masuda only thinks kids are dumb, zero-attention-span beggars with the memory of a goldfish who will just ask parents for Pokémon HOME subscription money. Masuda also believes they only play mobile games laden with microtransactions.

Anyone who thinks this is projecting, look up what he’s said in interviews because outside of the y’know obvious implication of wanting quick cash. He has straight up said this stuff in so many words.

They had it in Gen 6, but cut it in Gen 7, because Pokémon Company and GameFreak are making a career out of minimalist efforts to remove as many features as possible to better make their Gen 1 simulators.

Disguise getting nerfed isn’t good news for Mimikyu.

No, but it is good for literally everything else, so I call this a win.  As much as I love Mimikyu, Disguise was ridiculous.

Yes, ineligible captures based on not having the correct badge will be shiny-locked until you get the badge able to catch Pokémon at that level.

GF are still lazy. They think the Switch doesn’t have enough cartridge space for all the Pokémon, yet they decide to just make up excuses. It’s why I’ve decided to retire from playing the games altogether.

I just want to make it entirely clear: If the crux of your argument against SwSh is “GF are lazy,” you are a fucking moron. Literally none of what was said was true, other actual devs have chimed in and said it was only a matter of time before cuts like this were made, and they haven’t made up ‘excuses.’ Literally fuck right off.
