just beat pink and genuinely cried

#the was a sudden tone shift to lighten it which i did not appreciate tbh #it felt like a bad time for one of those #she was talking about how she didnt want to lose everyone and when ralsei said we werent gonna close the fountain yet #the music cut and her sprite stopped crying into a smile and she just went 'oh okay!' like nothing happened #like the world is still gonna end i felt like she shouldve continued to be sad #but with maybe susie or ralsei saying that she should enjoy the time she has left #and she'd still be sad but decide to enjoy it while it lasts #idk man i felt like that was really poorly done but maybe i just got too emotionally invested in what happened #normally the sudden silly tone changes dont bother me but this one felt bad #okay enough complaining #the ending bit was really well done otherwise and i wasnt expecting to get emotionally invested #i kinda just expected it to stay silly the whole time so that was a pleasant surprise #and tbh i was expecting it to cater more towards ralsei's characterization than kris's but it makes sense #i kinda wish it did tbh like kris already got that with the spamton neo fight and susie got her moment with gerson #i feel like ralsei deserved one #specifically i was expecting this to apply to ralsei definitely being trans #okay the devolved into more complaining whoops #poast

i think it took me like 4 times as long as it shouldve to get through the cutscene where you meet flowery bc i got briefly paralyzed every time he spoke

metal gear and deltarune brain worms currently fighting in my brain for dominance

#the past 380+ days has just been a sandwhich of returning hyperfixations #the dtr brainworms came back last june until the mgs brain worms took over again in january #there's an issue now of me very much enjoying the return of the mgs brain worms #but wanting the dtr brain worms back to get the full intense experience when ch 5 drops #good thing im not in control of whatever happens #there's a chance of dual hyperfixating ig #it happened with ace attorney and ch 2 #the ace attorney brain worms were stronger but the dr brain worms were definitely there too #poast #been lost in the gay pacifistic game sauce for the last year
