June 2014 plus 20% of July
This year's sixth month has been really rough on me. Well, so much has happened. and I'm here to recap details that seems interesting enough.
First off, is the start of our review for the Civil Engineering Board Exam and of course, me, being independent and all, living in a boarding house with Maan. YEAH! The review's alright and the instructors from Review Innovations are really good. Plus, they seem to be nice persons, too! XD
On the boarding house topic, the house is an old one, with floors made of wood and concrete walls though the house is really nice. Every floor, there seems to be six rooms and a really spacious living area where boarders get to entertain their guests (since visitors aren't suppose to let their visitors into their room, but who follows rules nowadays, huh?). There are also two toilet and bath (at least in our floor), one for the boys, and one for the girls. Though our "floormates" use the girls' CR too since their's is really stinky and disgusting not mentioning how the light bulb was already burnt out (but the owner later replaced it within the month). If I were to estimate, there would be about 14 people in our floor including only two girls. Yes, that would be me and Maan. No complains, though. All of us, usually stay in our rooms but of course, we still see each other's faces once in while and the guys living in Room 301 (we're in the third floor of a three-storey residential house), are kind of cute. Plus, this one guyu from Room 304 and another one from Room 305. I just noticed... no attractions involved. :))
Pusoy Dos iss usually my past time. Of course, I play with Maan though we invited Ervi once to play with us, and Chester, too. Jecko and Jethro were also almost always there, and Ralph also visited us once. Yep. All boys visitors, now that I think about it...
Anyway, on June 30th, the last day of this glorious month, Ate Malou came up to our room to tell us that we had to move out. GREAT! It was because her mom is getting an eye operation and there was this kid the mother is looking after that turns out to be Ate Malou's after all and Ate malou had to take her so that her mother wouldn't be so stressed for a speedy recovery. SHORT NOTICE MUCH? Anyway, we said it was okay and that we understood and we got to finding a place to move in to when we leave AteMalou's and found a gorgeous room at marzan Street for only PhP3500.00 every month inclusive of water and basic electricity needs. But since we have a rice cooker, and additional 400 shall be given to them for a supposed-to-be humongous electricity conspumption by the rice cooker. We agreed to it and they told us they'd reserve the room for us...
Until we got to the next day when they texted us the room is already taken and paid for by some people who checked it that morning. Devastated would be the right term to describe how we felt at that time because that room was almost twice the size of our room at Ate Malou's and the price was so cheap and it was well-lit, and... in other words, it was perfect. We really wanted it and well, it was just gone.
So we continued searching for a new place and to no avail. Not until July 7th, was it? I forgot. But at last, we found a place Maan and I bpth agreed upon. It was 1 3/4 of what we have in Ate Malou's and it's worth PhP5000 per month. The nly downside is, no male visitors allowed. They're only allowed up to the front door. Yes, you read that right. Front door. They can't even enter. Even fathers of boarders can't come inside. Sort of silly yet reasonable rule. So, we'll be moving there by Tuesday morning, or maybe afternoon right after review though we already got most of our stuff in there. Our new landlady (is it?) is Tita Rose Isidro. And the house is on Don Quixote (Quijote) Street. Just the street right before Mari Cristina (where we used to stay). I'm really excited about moving to that new place. Tita Rose even got a really astonishing book case beside the stairs where we can borrow her books (they're old of course). It's really cool. I'll take a picture (if I can).
And last Monday, July7th, I lost my phone. It got snatched right from my hands whhile I was texting. Stupid, I know, but that's what happened. Now I'm using my sister's TV phone. It's functional enough, so it's okay. I'm not looking for something better but I do miss my Android apps. :/
So, there. I guess that's it. It's 3:05am now and I think I'm getting drowsy. Yes, I'm not sure of it. Kbye. :)
