June 2014 plus 20% of July
This year's sixth month has been really rough on me. Well, so much has happened. and I'm here to recap details that seems interesting enough.
First off, is the start of our review for the Civil Engineering Board Exam and of course, me, being independent and all, living in a boarding house with Maan. YEAH! The review's alright and the instructors from Review Innovations are really good. Plus, they seem to be nice persons, too! XD
On the boarding house topic, the house is an old one, with floors made of wood and concrete walls though the house is really nice. Every floor, there seems to be six rooms and a really spacious living area where boarders get to entertain their guests (since visitors aren't suppose to let their visitors into their room, but who follows rules nowadays, huh?). There are also two toilet and bath (at least in our floor), one for the boys, and one for the girls. Though our "floormates" use the girls' CR too since their's is really stinky and disgusting not mentioning how the light bulb was already burnt out (but the owner later replaced it within the month). If I were to estimate, there would be about 14 people in our floor including only two girls. Yes, that would be me and Maan. No complains, though. All of us, usually stay in our rooms but of course, we still see each other's faces once in while and the guys living in Room 301 (we're in the third floor of a three-storey residential house), are kind of cute. Plus, this one guyu from Room 304 and another one from Room 305. I just noticed... no attractions involved. :))
Pusoy Dos iss usually my past time. Of course, I play with Maan though we invited Ervi once to play with us, and Chester, too. Jecko and Jethro were also almost always there, and Ralph also visited us once. Yep. All boys visitors, now that I think about it...
Anyway, on June 30th, the last day of this glorious month, Ate Malou came up to our room to tell us that we had to move out. GREAT! It was because her mom is getting an eye operation and there was this kid the mother is looking after that turns out to be Ate Malou's after all and Ate malou had to take her so that her mother wouldn't be so stressed for a speedy recovery. SHORT NOTICE MUCH? Anyway, we said it was okay and that we understood and we got to finding a place to move in to when we leave AteMalou's and found a gorgeous room at marzan Street for only PhP3500.00 every month inclusive of water and basic electricity needs. But since we have a rice cooker, and additional 400 shall be given to them for a supposed-to-be humongous electricity conspumption by the rice cooker. We agreed to it and they told us they'd reserve the room for us...
Until we got to the next day when they texted us the room is already taken and paid for by some people who checked it that morning. Devastated would be the right term to describe how we felt at that time because that room was almost twice the size of our room at Ate Malou's and the price was so cheap and it was well-lit, and... in other words, it was perfect. We really wanted it and well, it was just gone.
So we continued searching for a new place and to no avail. Not until July 7th, was it? I forgot. But at last, we found a place Maan and I bpth agreed upon. It was 1 3/4 of what we have in Ate Malou's and it's worth PhP5000 per month. The nly downside is, no male visitors allowed. They're only allowed up to the front door. Yes, you read that right. Front door. They can't even enter. Even fathers of boarders can't come inside. Sort of silly yet reasonable rule. So, we'll be moving there by Tuesday morning, or maybe afternoon right after review though we already got most of our stuff in there. Our new landlady (is it?) is Tita Rose Isidro. And the house is on Don Quixote (Quijote) Street. Just the street right before Mari Cristina (where we used to stay). I'm really excited about moving to that new place. Tita Rose even got a really astonishing book case beside the stairs where we can borrow her books (they're old of course). It's really cool. I'll take a picture (if I can).
And last Monday, July7th, I lost my phone. It got snatched right from my hands whhile I was texting. Stupid, I know, but that's what happened. Now I'm using my sister's TV phone. It's functional enough, so it's okay. I'm not looking for something better but I do miss my Android apps. :/
So, there. I guess that's it. It's 3:05am now and I think I'm getting drowsy. Yes, I'm not sure of it. Kbye. :)

With my Childish Views and All
I don’t even know why I admired Kris Aquino before because nowadays, she’s just kinda plain annoying.
I mean, maybe I saw her as a very empowered woman before since she was so strong despite of all the emotional stress she’s been going through but thinking about it now, it was kind of her fault she had to endure all of those. Maybe it was my shallow mind and my simple understanding of how the world runs during my juvenile days.
Plus, whenever I watch the Aquino and Abunda Tonight show, i can’t help but to get irritated at how she has a counter statement about everything, even with what Boy Abunda has to say. Also, how she interrupts almost anyone just so she could speak her mind. It’s like her mind runs with the program called “No one is allowed to speak until I get my thoughts out of my big mouth.” I mean, I know she has her opinions but, seriously? Butting in like that on just about everyone she has as her guest? Talk about being a professional interviewer! Or can you call that interviewing when all you can really hear is her voice echoing through the words of her co-host(s) and guest(s).
So, I was in church this afternoon. We were practicing for the upcoming Youth Presentation. I'm in the chorale group and man, talk about high notes! Ang taas grabe. As in literal na nahihilo ako whenever we get on the high notes. I run out of breath. My vision gets blurred though I'm already wearing my glasses. It was fun, though. Haha! And the dizziness subsides while you practice so I'm sure more practice would suffice. :D
Since I've known that bit of information last Thursday morning, this is all I could think of...
Being a friend is a state and not just a noun, not just any other title anyone is entitled to have. You stand by that state. You protect it. You treat it as something precious that there's no foolish thing you'd deliberately do to jeopardize yourself being in that state. Being a friend is a state. A status. A condition, perhaps.
Being a friend is not just an honor, it's a responsibility. It may not seem like it but it is. Sometimes, being a friend just comes so naturally that we forget what we're supposed to do. It even comes to the point that we get tired of being a friend to someone because of the "responsibility" they should be doing or we, ourselves, should be doing that no one does. The responsibility of being a friend is greatly felt in times of despair when you feel the need and urge to be by someone's side when you know they have to have you beside them. Being a friend is a responsibility -- it may not seem like it, but it is.
Being a friend is not declared, it is felt. You shouldn't care if it's mutual between the two of you. If you feel like you can trust that person with the biggest, darkest secret you have, or hell, even with your oh-so-precious life, then be it! That person is a friend. You don't need their confirmation if that other person also treats or sees you the same, if you feel like they are the most trustworthy person in the world, you just go ahead and trust them. You give them a part of your heart because you think they deserve it. You give them a piece of your innermost self, you soul, because you saw something in them that you didn't with others. Being a friend is not declared, it is felt. It shouldn't be agreed upon or mutual on each side. Friendship is felt and should not be judged by the reciprocity of it.
Your heart can betray you sometimes.

15.05.2014
Since yesterday is a day worth blogging -- much more worth blogging than my graduation day, actually -- I'll be telling you what happened.
So, first off, I woke up early to get ready for setting of to my Alma Mater (Yes! Alma Mater 'cause I've graduated already! :D) to return my toga (See? Graduate here!). Since Ate Neri's going back to Pagsanjan, she decided that she'll visit PUP first before heading off home. So we left at around 8:20am.
It's amazing how Metro Manila can get you off even if you're at your most wonderful mood. The streets of Pasig and Mandaluyong were so clogged you get a one-meter move every two minutes. I don't exactly know if I'm exaggerating that because that's exactly how it felt like. Our commute was only supposed to take one and a half hour but it took us three dreadful hours of heat, sweat, smoke, and irritation to get us to where we're supposed to be at 10am. It was so infuriating. We arrived at 11am. The good thing was, Jeth also arrived around that time since the PNR was in no good shape to operate and service people from 8:30am-9:30am. It was a good and at the same time a bad thing. Haha! The uunverse aligned for us three, yesterday. XD
Then we went to return our toga and claim our deposit worth PhP300.00. Then we went to see Sir Richmon. It was his birthday the day before (May 13: Our Graduation Day!) so we decided to treat him to lunch. We had to wait until 11:30am so he can legitimately take his break and so we went to SM Sta. Mesa for lunch.
On the way to SM Sta. Mesa, we saw Raul so we asked him if he wanted to go with us and he did so, in total, there were five of us: Jeth, me, Ate Neri, Sir Richmon and Raul.
We settled for KFC and ordered the SuperMom Bucket. I didn't spend any dime since Ate Neri gave a hundred and Jeth paid for the rest which amoounted to Php560.00. I'm such a stubborn thrift. Hahaha!
So we ate and chatted and ate some more. In the end, we didn't even finish the food. So we had the leftovers to go and set off to walk around the mall. Ate Neri wanted to buy Krispy Kreme but there were none there so she settled for some ChefTony's Popcorn. She bought two and then we decided to go back to school and Raul went to NSO since he's doing some stuff regarding his birth certificate.
The four of us went back to Teresa but Ate Neri had to go home so she got to an FX and set off to MegaMall and went home. Sir Richmon had to go back to his "work" and me and Jeth, well... we didn't have a time to ourselves because we saw Fatima and then we texted Maan where they were and went to them. Boring stuff followed...
After almost an hour of just sitting, I told Jeth that I wanted to leave so we went to Alabang (just the two of us) and had an unplanned date in Starmall Alabang. We ate siomai and a pizza from Chansel (which was disappointing) and then we went to his house where I got to meet his Aunt Niknik, his brother Jerome and her daughter, Nimay. Jeth's grandma and Aunt Zharon was also there. We stayed there until 7pm and then went to Maan's for the mini grad celeb.
Carlo, Ervi, Fatima, ChanD, Jandi, Charlon, Regi, Ralph, Makoy, and I forgot who else were also there. Haha! Ervi and I got to talk a bit and I asked about the (...) *parts deleted for safety. HAHAHAH!
I stayed only until 8pm since I had to get home at 10pm. So Jeth and I went off but Jeth had to buy stuff for his family so we went to Starmall first and bought whatever it is that he was assigned to buy and I went home. :p
