| New sunscreen on the block
So these days I've been seeing articles and videos about the importance of using sunscreen, and I learn that it is the most essential thing for our skin even if we're not going outside and just laying on couch sipping hot tea. We still need to use sunscreen. Especially for ppl living in tropical area like me, that the sun knows no time to rest - lol. Jk. Basically means that summer is on for 365/366 days here. Even if the rainy season comes, doesnt mean it can stop the sunlight to radiate our skin. And its just way too much of radiation.
In conclusion, wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen is a must for me, in order to prevent skin cancer and sun spots on my face. And my body skin too.
Honestly, I did not think of sunscreen as a daily skin care once... because I only understood that people used it to avoid dark skin color & burnt skin. So its only essential to use when I went out to the beach, swimming, etc which exposed my skin to the sun. But, as soon as I found the importance of it, I realized I must start using it now not only for beauty purpose but also for my skin's health.
And then I came across this product..
Well everyone knows Banana Boat, right? But mostly their main products are for body, so not really sure to use it on face. But this time they just released a new product, which is formulated in Japan, for face, and for daily use. Could even replace the use of your daily moisturizer. For goodness sake. There are actually two variants, the daily moisture and long wearing. Long wearing is water resistant so it suits people who do a lot of outdoor activity. For me, daily moisture is enough. I used to wear a local brand moisturizer which also contained spf, but then I changed to Sukin just a few times ago and.. Sukin's really has nothing but moisturizer in its product. But its good for daily use, so far no BO. But still I need an additional spf then to complete it. Since I am a simple person and I dont keep a lot of skin care around, Banana Boat's simply aqua daily moisture is perfect for me.
It acts both as moisturizer & sunscreen, so in the morning I only need this baby as my base.
And sure Im not going to throw Sukin away, I will use it at night coz these days I feel like my skin is drying badly after shower so it really does help me to get the moist back.
Anyhoo. For my own note. This product will be expired on 2022.
