Why.. so.. serious? 😆

Another good day! My back is very sore and swollen because I beat it up with the massage ball last night. I took some aspirin for the inflammation and used some bio freeze on it today which helped, I think. Fingers crossed it’s a bit better in the morning.

Stayed totally on track today with food & activity. Need to have a little more water before bed. Hoping shark week eases up tomorrow.. I’m ready to not feel bloated anymore!

One day at a time 💪🏻🥗

Starting off the week on the right foot.

I got a decent workout in - not the best, but still a good one. It was a long day at work and my first day of incorporating protein shakes into my diet. Overall, I feel pretty satisfied and I’m liking it more than I thought I would.

I gave B a shopping list so he could pick up a few things from the grocery store. We’re both replacing breakfast and dinner with a protein shake this week, and I whipped up a pot of 3 bean turkey chili last night to pack for our work lunches. Then we’re supplementing with fruits, veggies, nuts and things like that to ensure we get enough calories in through the day.

It feels good to keep this positive momentum going. I weighed in this morning just to see where I’m at, and I was happy to be about 1.5 lbs down from last week. I’ll take it.

Another one bites the dust.

I struggled a bit yesterday — it was a frustrating day at work. I swear some people argue for the sake of arguing.

I went out with some coworkers after work which was nice, but I’ve gotten home late most nights this week and I was exhausted by the time I got home. That being said, I stuck to my guns with my goals and I’m feeling good.

Did someone say TGIF?! 🥳🥳

Wednesday & Thursday 9/25-26

I am really pleased with myself this week. I usually struggle with consistency and sticking to the routine. Something just sorta clicked recently and I’m doing everything I can to embrace that and keep it going.

5/5 days exercise by Thursday?! Who am I?

Definitely not stopping there this week either. 😁
