when I started shipping it if I did: so when I first first first got into 1d I was like wow harry styles is the sort of guy Davey should date. it might improve his disposition. Then I got protective of harry and was like he doesn't deserve that toxicity!!! Now I don’t care about him so I'll throw him back to the wolves <3
my thoughts: I just think it’s cute and hot. Davey seems very much Harry’s type--extremely attractive, much older, classy and artistic and closed off and famous enough he can empathize but not so famous they’d implode. And then Davey loves pretty young things who remind him of himself, and he REALLY should be with a guy who’s simple/ stupid and pretty ok with his sexuality because loving a homophobic straight dude most of his life has made him insufferable. I think they could build something beautiful together.
What makes me happy about them: I really love the thought of Davey getting to actually let go of some long festering trauma and have fun. And then the idea of Harry just being stoked on a hot older goth dude without knowing shit about his ugly history of very bad witchcraft is cute to me.
What makes me sad about them: idk. Davey is always sad.

My happily ever after for them: they both transition and are a cute may December lesbian couple!!! Harry wears pink dresses and paints her nails and picks flowers for Davey, who slowly forgives herself and forgets about jade and quits her stupid black magic band. she still listens to sad music but she also sometimes hers her girlfriend humming Lucretia my reflection when she washes the dishes and it makes her happy, which is weird, but she will take it.
who is the big spoon/little spoon: davey is the big spoon which is funny because he's like five foot six and harry is much bigger. harry likes to feel tiny though.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Davey likes getting harry into music and hearing his batshit young person takes on things. they also probably do weird glamorous rich person stuff together, like try out expensive vegan restaurants. Davey would normally complain but harry always thinks the food is good and it makes him want to be a better customer, so he doesn't.
