Merlin stares forlornly out at the rain. It’s the eleventh consecutive day of grey, cold wet. He rubs his eyes, hard, thinking it wouldn’t be so bad if he clawed them out by accident. Nothing is worse than boredom. When he opens his eyes again, and the sparks of white fade from his vision, it’s still raining outside. He hangs his head, looking down at the grey, unforgiving stone his forearms rest on, contemplating how hard he would have to hit his head against it to knock himself out.

I love them! In this time of social distancing, I’ve been spending so much time reading long fics of ensemble cast media just to read about the characters hanging out as friends. It fills the social void a little bit.

Davey skeptically asks “you’re sure this is vegan? what restaurant did you get it” questions before eating it

Harry forgets the origin of the tradition of bringing Davey eggplant parmesan every time they see each other and starts thinking it’s just Davey’s favorite food and so continues to bring Davey eggplant parmesan very frequently past the point of a reasonable apology period

Davey doesn't like it THAT much but thinks it’s cute/sweet

Harry sends eggplant emoji before coming to visit and it no longer holds any meaning whatsoever

person A is the ONE PERSON who TRULY KNOWS person B, even though there are lots of people who think they know person B, and it drives person A crazy because they’re just waiting for B to realize they’re worthy of love and don’t need all those other people to fake-know them. (wow this is really everything I ever ship pretty much)

15. Opinion on kids?

YES. For some reason single parent fic is my favorite??? Or magical nanny/teacher fic falling in love with their favorite kid’s parent. Or mutual adoption of a baby dragon. I eat it all up. It’s the only thing I’ll read even if (or because) it’s badly written. I blame Julie Andrews.

Arthur confesses many times and Merlin says “really?” and Arthur can’t tell if he’s misstepped so he says “don’t be stupid Merlin” and evades for forever. Eventually, he backs Merlin into a corner until HE confesses because it’s the only way Arthur can be sure he’s not abusing his privilege.
