The Monster.
The Rapid Hound.
The Beast of the Yamagarasu.
The man Daisuke now worked for was known by many names, many of them given as an insult rather than in reverence.
But, at the moment, the hyur found the said beast slumbering, slumped over his desk and papers as a tired, steadily breathing heap of a man.
"...The moment I'm not around, you pull a stunt like this..."
His reprimand was barely a whisper as he carefully closed the door behind him, a box of lunch balanced in one hand.

Even if Oka wasn't there to hear them, he could feel his cheeks flushing red.
"I don't know what it is you see in me, but I am so very lucky you do. You...make me glad for being alive."
The warmth on his cheeks only deepened, as he heard the familiar, heavy thudding of a wagging tail behind them. Even with his embarrassment, he couldn't help but grin from ear to ear.
"I love you."
Oka.
His Sun.
His Lover.
And his Absolute Idiot.
