To add onto my last post, it's sad but also not surprising to find out that, as far the late 70's, proto-yaoists were already insanely misogynistic girls. As per my mum's (whose words I trust completely) testimony, her classmates in Middle School loved imagining scenarios where Venusia, Phénicia and Végalia were subjected to gruesome deaths for the crime of being potentially in the way of Actarus x Alcor. ...And things haven't changed in the slightest since then.

imo Grendizer U’s Daisuke looks a bit odd because he seems so... babyfaced? Compared to the 70s or Shin ZERO versions, he’s definitely younger, or at least drawn younger. But I still really like the designs!
