Daisy Adaar

Daisy LOVES cake. Her favorite cake is chocolate, but she really likes anything with sugar.

She had a crush on her fellow Chantry initiate, a young lady by the name of Amelie. Amelie’s whereabouts post Temple boom are at this point unknown.

Random fun fact - At 13, she stands at 5′8″. By the time she finishes growing, she’ll be 8′1″. She’s going to be a very tall lady.

Ian Trevelyan

His favorite food is baked cheese. (Like a baked brie I guess?) He really likes cheese. And bread. Very simple tastes despite being a noble. 

Had a very awkward crush on a young Templar in training when he was in the Circle. It ended about as well as it could, with that Templar being moved to another circle thankfully.

Random fun fact - He’s got curly, ginger hair. Very cute when grown out, but rarely done. Also very nice eyebrows.

Arthur Hawke

Arthur’s favorite food is apple pie. He can’t see it, but he knows a good pie when he smells and hears it. He can even bake it, much to the surprise of the misfits.

This is an awkward crush on HIM. The Arishok slowly developed feelings for him over the course of their friendship. It kept him up at night

Random fun fact - Arty’s blind even in the Fade. If Solas’ words are anything to go by, it’s based on his experiences. So, he can’t see no matter what.

Priscilla “P” Amell

P would kill a man for honeycomb. When she was a little girl, before the circle, she would go looking for it. Got stung more than a couple times, too.

She says she’s a black hearted bastard who doesn’t like anyone... but if Wynne would have noticed her back in the day her little heart would have melted.

Random fun fact - She has a heart shaped birthmark that covers her entire right hip. People swear it’s a tattoo but no, she was born with it.

Daisy and her lessons

After it’s established this is a young girl we’re dealing with, Josephine steps in. A 13 year old girl just became the Herald of Andraste. She needs to be taught many things to survive amidst the nobles and generals of the age. A chantry education can only go so far, after all.

When she’s not being the Herald, Daisy Adaar is a school girl with her tutors. You can find them in a room in the chantry, going over history or math or whatever the lesson of the day is. When they move to Skyhold, the lesson is in her quarters. Daisy is a very good student, and she works very hard. Josephine gets glowing report cards.

One of her favorite things to do is take her history book or her literature work and go in the gardens to read. If Mother Giselle is in the garden that day, she’ll quiz the young Inquisitor. Should she do well, a small piece of candy (GRANDMA CANDY!) gets tucked into the pocket of her skirt. 

Daisy’s favorite subjects are history and literature. Her Orlesian is coming along, and her Antivan is pretty good. She’s struggling a little with math, and sometimes etiquette escapes her, but Josie’s always willing to offer assistance.

Daisy and Iron Bull

Daisy’s absolutely terrified of Iron Bull when they first meet. She hides behind Cassandra... all 6 feet of her. Her horns poke out. After all, he’s a Qunari. Her parents, what little she can remember, were Tal-Vashoth. Her father was a Saarebas. She knows by the Qun she is a Saarebas. She’s afraid he’s going to tell the Qunari about her and drag her to Par Vollen.

Lucky for her, Bull has no intention of taking this scared 12 year old kid anywhere except somewhere dry. She’s shaking like a leaf. A quick once over tells him she’s in bad shape. He’s never seen a kid with horns that bad, and she’s not eating enough. Something in him is saying pick her up and make her better. He’s glad when conferring with Cass signs the chargers on

They slowly develop a father/daughter relationship as Bull shows her how to grow up qunari. He gets her horns in good shape and even teaches her about vitaar. She’s a bright kid, but far too young for this job. He worries about her, especially at Haven. When he thought he lost her, it was the worst feeling in the world.

It’s the Chargers who bring up the adoption. After all, it didn’t take them long to consider Daisy Bull’s kid. He’s shit terrified, but he already does all the things a parent does by then. He worries about her, scolds her, cares about her... hell he’s tucked her in once when she wasn’t feeling well. He’s pretty much her dad. It’s just... bridging that big, scary gap.

That first “dad” is going to be the greatest thing in the world.

Daisy Adaar just got added to the fold.

12 year old kid. Chantry raised, Vashoth reared. She’s been in a chantry orphanage since she was 6 when her parents died in a bandit attack. 

Why the hell is she at the Conclave? The Chantry wanted her and some other orphans to see the conclave at work so they know who’d they be working with some day. A nice, quiet field trip... until everything blew the fuck up.

Now she’s got a glowing left hand and she can shoot fire out of her palms. What’s a girl to do?

oh!!!!!! i have a question about daisy!!!! well it's more about daisy and your warden!! what would they do if they met each other? what do they think about each other? idk you probably posted something about our trash husband and i thought about daisy and it all escalated from there

out of all my main wardens:calynda mahariel: they’d get along v well, but they wouldn’t be Best Friends™, yfm? daisy would freak out bc it’s the HERO OF FERELDEN, and calynda would just sit there like “well, yeah, thanks, it’s pretty cool, i guess.”

clíodhna tabris: this… wouldn’t work. daisy’s too soft, preachy, and a goody-two-shoes to really get along with her. i don’t think they’d actively dislike one another, but they just… don’t click

caiomhe surana: ooh, this is an interesting one. surana is Very anti-circle after finally seeing the world, but daisy is, of course, not at all. their values definitely align with one another, and personality-wise, they’re pretty similar. they’d click easily, but there would be friction in their friendship

charlotte cousland: oh god… charlotte would BREAK daisy… oh no. daisy is MUCH too soft and open to others; her weaknesses would be exploited almost immediately. KEEP CHARLOTTE AWAY FROM HER AAAAAA

you mention a lot that daisy was sheltered by her parents--how sheltered was she, exactly? like, literally never left the house or??

ok. daisy’s parents didn’t, like, lock her in the basement and keep her completely cut off from society. however, they were very protective of her. people already distrusted them just for being qunari, and when daisy’s magic started to manifest, they sort of flipped shit. after all, she had very little control of it, and all eyes were on her any time she walked into town. being in the free marches and from par vollen, her parents knew exactly how mages are treated, and the thought of their daughter, the most important part of their lives after leaving the qun, being ripped away to a horrible fate like that made them get seriously worried. so daisy didn’t get away from the farm too often, and the few trips she made were short and nerve-wracking for her. in a small town like that, everyone notices someone different or from the outside, and what’s more different than a shut-in, quiet qunari girl? she wanted to get out, but her parents made it very clear exactly how dangerous it would be for her. 

she was a really lonely kid for it, having next to no one to talk to outside of her parents, and she spent most of her childhood reading everything she could get her hands on, conjuring some sort of entertainment, or caring for the animals on the farm. hell, there were times she wanted to go to the circle. she never did, though, and she was 16 when she found maraad injured on the edge of her family’s property. after that, she immediately took the chance to run off with the company as their healer, despite her parents’ protests. admittedly, part of the reason was that it felt like something straight out of one of her adventure/romance novels, but overall, she just wanted to get out.
