I think Becka would honestly like Daisy more if she found out she was a spy for the terrorist organisation trying to systematically dismantle gilead rather than a pearl girl

ik im on the minority but i need the writers to give me daisygarth. im so sorry i swear i tried with agnesgarth but they're not giving what i thought they were going to give; idk if its just the actors not having romantic chemistry or the writers not doing their job developing their relationship but its not working.
daisy and garth have so much chemistry and i know that the writers are doing something with them bc that scene in ep 5 when he got closer to her and she got all nervous???? garth did that like 5 seconds before the commanders started leaving that room. he deadass just got close to her bc he wanted to. then when she's asking how he's going to get out of his marriage with becka and he explains that he never expected love in the way she's referring to, all while his eyes flickered between her eyes and lips?? there was a vibe and daisy felt it too, that's why she had to look away. and then ep 9 when his voice and eyes go all soft because he was worried sick for her???
im sorry agnesgarth but youre BONES. i think garth does care about agnes because she's such a sweet girl but not #likethat and agnes is not in love with him lets be honest she doesnt know him at all. he's just a fantasy.
Becka & Daisy’s bathroom pep talk (oil on canvas, 2026)
I don't care that Daisy isn't biologically June's child in the show, that is her baby now. That is one of her daughters, and I will be damned if June doesn't get all her girls safe and sound in her arms by the end.
Girls out of Gilead
“Oh, my life is changing everyday in every possible way”
Grove: a mentally disturbed pearl girl turned plum girl
Garth's internal monologue: surely it's not Daisy if i say nothing it will be another pearl girl who got her period
Becka: Daisy?
Garth:
Daisy loving her new friends so much is even more impactful when you realize how she probably never had strong bonds with other girls in Canada.
At the beginning of the series she really only mentions having male friends back in Toronto, never once mentioning a friendship with a girl. Daisy tends to mention her relationships with guys often to elevate herself from the Gilead girls, because - at first - she is sure she is superior to them.
We know little to nothing about her relationships prior to Gilead, aside from her boyfriend, but Daisy not having anyone to seek for help after her parents’ deaths besides her boyfriend speaks volumes to me. Her boyfriend also being her bestfriend is sweet, but the bonds between girls she witnesses in Gilead catch her off guard, and i’m 100% sure it’s because she never had them before. The girls in Gilead are desperate for human relationships: they can be cruel between eachother, but also extremely protective, something - again - Daisy could’ve never seen before because she’s not from there.
