long time, no post! well — at least in terms of a write-up, that is.

I haven't outwardly blogged about it, but I've come to slowly ease myself back into creating original stories again after writing and drawing silly stuff for the Karate fandom for almost 4 years. (this isn't that kind of leaving post jsyk. I don't exactly know where I fall with that, so that's a tale for another time I guess!) I've been secretly debating with myself if I should even talk about it here, but I feel as though I need someplace to document it and share with the rest of my Tumblr mutuals and whoever else may come across it.

I won't dive into too many details for now since it's still in its planning stages, so I'll leave with two pieces of art studies for now. we shall call her: Daisy Jane!

my tags for her on this blog will be #daisy jane and #corny's story chronicles for the time being but I'm very certain I will be annoying about her on this blog either way. no one's going to stop me except for whatever crippling flavor of self-awareness might overcome me at any point. whatever!!!

Lately I've been reading fabulous series and just wanted to share my joy!

The only two series in the post that I've actually finished are Destiny by Beverly Jenkins and Cowboys of California by Rebekah Weatherspoon and both are magnificent 💜

I started The Brothers Sinister by Courtney Milan and The Cider Bar Sisters by Jackie Lau last year, but I've been taking my time reading them because of how good they are 💙

And this year, thanks to bookstagram, I discovered new to me authors like Daisy Jane and so far, I've loved the books I've read by them 🧡

I'm currently reading The Brazen One

Daisy came to the mall the other night! Shes rocking her training and nailing alerts. I'm proud of my big baby. Working on desensitization to new places and shes loving working. She gets so excited to go places with me! Which is thrilling! Thank goodness for independence .
