It's mad how I see things most days that I disagree with, yet somehow I have never gotten the urge to type out an anonymous essay in somebody's ask box trying to bring them down.

I’m back (I’ve said it before and I will say it again), but this time it is to say goodbye :’( I’ve just fallen out of Kpop, and I feel like I should just move on. Not quitting writing tho, and my account will still be up, so yall can still enjoy.

People who make phone calls on speaker phone in public, like at airports, should lose phone privileges at the bare minimum.

I hope the heel of their sock slips down inside their shoe. I hope their sunglasses have a scratch right on the edge of their field of vision. I hope they get the same obnoxious crazy loud commercial on their streaming service for 3 episodes straight. I hope their apple is mushy. I hope their coffee is just a little burned. I hope that tag in their shirt makes their neck itchy, but only every 17 minutes.

so the first of my two exams this session went extremely well. i wasn't optimistic at all about it because it was a shit ton of information to retain, but the professor was surprisingly nice even when i did mess up a bit (in class he was a bit of a dick but apparently that was all for show because during the actual exam he was so understanding about everything), and ended up getting a 30/30 🥹

next one is in two weeks and then a friend invited me to a small vacation before classes start again which i might just do And perhaps i'll get some (new) writing done while in nature

I am getting really goddamned sick of all the complaints about historical accuracy and Bridgerton. Especially the ones that start "I love the diverse casting, but..."

No. No but. We don't need to nitpick the costuming. From the outset they made no claims of accuracy. I wish they'd put the actresses in shifts, just for their own comfort, but that's the only quibble I have.

It's fun, it's frothy, and it feels exactly as a Regency Romance adapted should. They captured the feel of it exactly. And I love the diverse casting.

Anyone think they'll ever do the Cynster novels?

(Another thing I'm sick of in re: Bridgerton and the thousand critics who've popped up 'This isn't my normal genre, but...' Fine. We get it. You only read A Rememberence of Things Past in the original French. Fuck off you pretentious twit.)
