The best (and weirdest) adventuring team: Howard the Duck, Korrek of Katharta, Jennifer Kale the Teenage Witch, the ghost of Dakimh the Enchanter and Man-Thing. Give me a book about these five, please! It'd be amazing! (Howard the Duck #22):

Man-Thing #22 (Gerber/Mooney, Oct 1975). Steve Gerber loses the plot and writes himself into the story to make sense of it all. Thus the bizarre trip of Ted Sallis ends!

So, things are about to get weird... but it’s a Man-Thing book so that is to be expected.
Much like the finale of Volume 1, we learn that Dakimh was the one pulling the strings behind the scenes bringing Claremont in. It’s a nice callback.
Howard kills a giant fly with a guitar, then Dakimh and Man-Thing come for him. Dakimh has to get his band of adventurers back together for a new quest. And again: Man-Thing is oddly charming, just standing there flopping his arms around. (Howard the Duck #22):

So Kidney lady is actually an evil witch! Man, this book is pulling in all kinds of old Howard stories.
