I finished episode 1 of Dal-ja’s Spring! I really like it so far. Here are my play-by-play thoughts:

-Dancing Queen playing in the background? I love it already.

-This drama is SO 2007. I love it. Dal-ja’s hair especially. And that fashion. And those phones!! And those imaginary fight sequences. The OST and BGM. 10 years is a long time, isn’t it?

-I also already love Dal-ja. I will always have a soft spot for career-oriented women.

-The dude she has a crush on has terrible hair. Also haha at her heart eyes for him. Girl, I think your sights will be set somewhere else soon.

-OH MY GOD IT’S CHRISTMAS. I was destined to watch this drama at this exact moment.

-LOL at her being so oblivious to the dude wanting to have sex with her.

-He’s at a hotel with someone else. That celebrity woman? Of course. Douche.

-“You don’t look good together. He’s out of your league.” LOLWHAT. I don’t like commenting on characters’ appearances but the guy looks like a potato next to Dal-ja. She’s gorgeous. Also he’s a jerk sooooo I don’t feel bad for saying that.

-YES DAL-JA TELL HER OFF!

-We are 35 minutes in, when’s the meet-cute happening????

-THERE HE IIIIIS. HA I AM PSYCHIC. Why are gangsters/loan sharks/whatever chasing him???

-He’s perfect wth

-I want to hire Lee Min-ki as my boyfriend.

-Between this and Spellbound I have a thing for Lee Min-ki in peacoats.

-Limp Hair saying “Oh we weren’t compatible I waited a while before seeing whatsherface” ummm but you didn’t tell Dal-ja that. You were stringing her along hoping she’d have sex with you eventually. Gross.

-She is gonna call LMK isn’t she

-Knew iiiiit.

-He’s staying with her awwwwwwww

-Dal-ja’s Chief can go stuff himself

-OMG he is making all her coworkers believe they had a hot night. THIS IS SO CUTE.

I like that the show is apparently making her and Shin Se-do the secondary romance. At first I think he just wanted to get back with her because of his ego (he'd get back with her and then dump her before she could get sick of him again), but now I think he's starting to like her.

Mistaken identity. She's not the dude's wife. She had Oh Dal-ja confused with someone else.

But I'm still not impressed with dude's aloofness. He saw Oh Dal-ja get slapped and he looked completely uninterested.

#Dal-Ja's Spring #and why does mysoju have an anti-Obama ad? The thing runs every 6 minutes. Ugh.

And now a woman, who I'm assuming is his wife based on the conversation Oh Dal-ja and Go Soon-ae had, just came and slapped Oh Dal-ja across the face for going out with dude.

Welp, Go Soon-ae just said the dude's selfish so he most likely is. She's had good judgment on Oh Dal-ja's dudes so far.

Why is this man talking to her about wine? Selfish. She gave no indication that she wanted to talk about wine. All she did was gulp the who glass down instead of sipping it.

I don't like how hard she's working to get this dude's attention, taking lessons from Kang Tae-bong and everything, and dude just sits there aloof. You ain't that special.
