Taehlyr and Dorian show up to the Pavus family christmas party in the ugliest sweaters they can find (because taehlyr actually likes them and dorian wants to annoy his dad)

Dalia and Cullen plan on a romantic holiday at home in front of the fire, drunk way too much wine, and end up singing christmas carols and dancing around the living room in their underwear

Katya and Leliana go out to the wood to cut down a christmas tree at night under the moonlight, because Katya has never had a christmas tree before, and Leliana likes to walk the wood by their house at night. They decorate it to the sound of Leliana’s gentle humming and Katya thinks maybe this christmas thing is pretty good after all

What kind of drunk is each of your children?

Dalia is a TROUBLEMAKER. She is 100% an enabler. She’s the kind of person to dare her much drunker friends to a game of darts. and the darts are on fire. (she and bull have nearly burnt down the tavern twice)

Taehlyr’s a flirt, he gets about a thousand times sluttier when drinking. Everyone gets made out with. Laps are sat on. And danced on. (Taehlyr is my Woo Girl)

Katya is an aggressive drunk. She gets overzealous and then challenges people to arm wrestling matches, that turn to full on bar fights. She always laughs and buys her challenger a drink after.

1. How many children does your character have? How many would they ideally WANT?

- Dalia and Cullen have one daughter, named Gilly. They’d never really discussed children before that point, and after she is grown into a very rambunctious toddler they’re decided that one is definitely enough.

24. Has having children changed the character? How?

- Dalia was always a mother. She was a mama bear in her clan and amongst the inquisition. Having a daughter only heightened her protective instincts and her loving nature, and made her about 3000x more scary to the people around them.

I realize it's 11pm and no one cares but I have a lot of Dalia feelings right now people should ask me stuff about her

I just really love how both strong and vulnerable Dalia is and how her compassion and nurturing side are part of her strength and not a weakness

DALIA.

Oh, lord.

Katya would be Yellow Flicker Beat by Lorde

Dalia is Hopeless Wanderer by Mumford and Sons

and idk about Taehylr, probably Strangers by Passenger.

What are Taehlyr's and Dalia's reaction to the news?

They’re both devastated. Taehlyr, when he imagined escaping Tevinter or being free, imagined going home to his clan, to his mother. They were extremely close. His father was someone he feared and respected, and he felt he never got to make him proud. When he found out his clan was attacked because local humans heard a dalish elf killed divine Justinia, he is overcome with grief. He had assumed his sister had also died, and that he was alone (he didnt know his sister had gotten his letter and that she was on her way to skyhold)

Dalia is guilt ridden because she couldn’t save them. When the clan was attacked she took the children of the clan and fled, leaving her mother to die. When her father was sick with heartbreak, she couldn’t heal them. She couldn’t save either of them and it made her hard and difficult to read.
