You mean aside from the horrible onslaught of horrible things that happened to Aerrun?

I’d say putting Val into Grelod the Kind’s care. Even though she was only there for three years, the kind of abuse she suffered was severe, even more so when you consider that she’d very recently lost her parents and her home in a very traumatic incident. That’s rough stuff for a four year old.

And while I’m (sorta) on the subject: Olivia has zero patience for politics and honestly lacks the mind to deal with it. She’d rather bash her way through most problems, or strategize (militarily speaking) if the situation demands. But even more than that is her strong desire to stay as way far away as possible when it comes to politics... especially those mired deeply in Orlais. The Game is a thing she detests. 

This is all why, a little later on, Olivia is all too happy to allow her sister (@dalishiouself‘s Camilla) to run the show. For the Winter Palace they actually even have Camilla attend as Olivia so that they can actually charm the court. By this time? It’s absolutely no secret that Olivia herself would fuck up and get their asses kicked out. So she dresses as an attending soldier so she can sneak away and do the behind the scenes work without the fuss of anyone missing her.

4: What would your character wear to a formal gathering such as a dance, a wedding, or a funeral?

She’d probably wear something similar to this dress for a formal event, but I have no idea what she’d wear for a funeral. Naturally she’d wear her dress blues for something Alliance-related.

6: What kind of media would (or does) your character consume? This includes books, tv shows, video games, and movies.

Brienne adores romcoms and will watch them over and over. And she high-key likes Fleet and Flotilla, and has watched it with Tali multiple times.

12: Does your character have any addictions, allergies, diseases, illnesses, disorders, or disabilities? How does this affect their life?

She gets occasional pain from her robotic parts, but other than that, no.
