So I suddenly remembered almost 2 years ago, I was having a conversation via email with @worldwidepedrol about our travel plans. I mentioned that I would look for a place to “settle down” after Shanghai, then he replied, “do people like us settle down?” Back then, my logic told me settling down was the “responsible thing to do” because I had made the decision together with someone. I owed it to myself and to us. Yet, when Pedrol said it, i felt resistance within me towards a truth I didn’t want to admit. 🙉 . I wanted to roam free, but I was afraid to lose something I believed was good for me. Little did I know, I was running away from my authentic self. 🏃🏻‍♀️ . I was sacrificing what my soul always yearns for - to live a creative life and be as flexible as I can, so I can connect with more souls in this world. 🌍 It’s funny how this conversation has imprinted in my memory so deeply although it was a very brief message exchange. This is the amazing thing about life - it brings us important messages that resonate with our soul in unexpected ways. Sometimes, it doesn’t connect right away, but our souls would make sure the messages stay, or it will keep coming back in different forms to nudge us until we respond. ⏰ . This is how we get back on to our life paths. When we actually listen and pay attention to how we feel to each messages that are presented upon us and act accordingly, we will be able to see our next step unfolding in front of our own eyes clearly. 👁 . The video was filmed in Dali, Yunnan 🇨🇳 when we were riding on some of the shitest road.
