A first look at Orochi! Shooting space at con is limited if you don't want it to look like the convention center and I was very tired, so these aren't very creative. I need to get myself a few props and maybe a jonin uniform even tho I should not be spending more money rn and then I'm going to have a proper location shoot for him!

Holy names

I call upon the stranger and tell them it hurts. Too many years have gone by it never stops, does it ?

People scare me. Every time I hear my name I remember my existence and I want to stop .

I am tired of writing love notes to myself. My fingers hurt when they write the lies to me.it is hell inside my head .

People notice the skin and the way I am all clean they don't know the darkness that grips my soul.

I say the words and run to never look back. It makes it easy. It is hard to be and keep being .

Mirror I cry to my soul.

It hides in the corners of my own body.

“What’s this?” Sana asks, pointing at something over Even’s shoulder. “Cheese toast? On a wedding menu?” “It’s a thing.” “Right.”

Notes & Ramblings:

This is a short but incredibly sweet fic that takes place sometime in the future as Even plans on proposing to Isak!

I really love how effortless the whole tone of the story feels, it’s simultaneously lighthearted and fluffy but also very heartfelt and grounded in the real love Even feels for Isak

This fic also includes some really nice understated touches that give life to Even’s voice in a very in character way

The payoff is of course very, very sweet, and there’s so much love between Even and Isak but it doesn’t feel over the top; it fits the way these two feel for each other very well!

Overall a super cute fic that simultaneously feels realistic; I can easily see a proposal happening in this way!

Favorite lines:

“Oh my god, you’re not preparing a proposal, you’re planning a wedding!” Eva shrieks, her smile so bright Even almost has to look away. He feels silly, suddenly - which only ever happens when he's talking about Isak. Isak's the only person in his life who loves him completely but still makes him want to be more.
