On the lookout for damask decor?
The top half is done! These sleeves are sort of ridiculous. I hope they are balanced out by the skirt when it’s done, otherwise this might look a little silly.
I have blog posts about making them here and a video showing the process here.
Now it’s time for the skirt, which should be the fun part. I love hemming and I love cartridge pleats and that’s pretty much all that will go into it!
The huge sleeves for my medieval project are now huge sleeves trimmed with fake fur! I wish this trim was a little bit wider, the proportions are kind of weird. But I think it will look nice in the end.
A video about these should be up tomorrow.
