Tips to Use Overwatch Characters Ultimate Abilities. Part 2
Many of the overwatch character abilities are often misused. They’re usually misused from a support player trying to play for damage or a offense player not using their ultimate at the right time. Here are the best tips for some of the tanks, offense, and support characters.
For more information, check out “Blizzard Guides” youtube channel
Here are some tips for offense or damage character’s ultimate abilities. Offense characters are the best source of damage and can heavily sway a match.
1. Doomfist
Do not try to overdo it with Doomfist’s ultimate. Try to get three kills at most with Doomfist, don’t go overboard. Doomfist’s ultimate is best to use when there is a big team fight on the objective. Try using Doomfist’s ultimate ability on low mobility chracters. Doomfist’s ultimate can also be used as an escape technique.
2. Genji
For Genji’s Dragon blade, do not use when your teammates are not around! Try to scout the map first as well and decide what order you want to attack your enemies.Try to go for characters with low mobility or no escape abilities. Don’t try to target tanks first! Another tip is to not attack in a straight line, try to zig-zag to take less damage.
4. McCree
There isn’t much to say for McCree’s ultimate ability except definitely try to use McCree’s high noon on high ground. Try not to be out in the open and killed before you can even attack. Try to use high noon just to clean up low health attackers.
5. Pharah
For Pharah’s ultimate do not try to use her ult when she’s in an immediate line of sight. Don’t prioritize kills with Pharah’s ultimate, try to protect your teammates and push back enemies.
6. Reaper
For Reaper’s blood blossom, do not try to use it unless your teammates are with you. Try to make sure your team is with Reaper because he becomes highly vulnerable while using blood blossom. Try to catch enemies off guard by jumping off a building first. Also try to use Reaper’s ultimate on top of an object to have a better range.
7. Soldier 76
Soldier 76 is my personal favorite character. For Soldier 76′s ultimate tactical auto-aim visor, make sure it’s used on high ground. Also place down Soldier 76′s healing station before using his visor so he take less damage since Solder 76 becomes an easy target. To animation cancel the clip of his visor, press O to get a few more valuable seconds out of his visor. Lastly, do not use Soldier 76′s visor while all the enemies are grouped together.
8. Tracer
For Tracer’s ultimate, try to use her bomb as soon as possible at the beginning of a match. Try to use Tracer’s bomb to take down healers. Taking down the support characters can heavily sway a fight. Finally treat Tracer’s ultimate as a projectile.
