"That doesn’t surprise me. That’s about the only thing we got in common." He shrugged.
Like every year before, he wasn’t allowed to go to the estate — But after so long, it hardly didn’t phase him at all anymore. He just spent the night at Shigure’s watching the sun come up with Tohru, like last year.
Perfect substitution, if you asked him.
"…Uh-huh." He blinked, easily guessing the reason as to why. "But I bet you didn’t have any complaints to that, now didja?"
Why did Kyo seem so interested on what he thought about Rin? or anyone to anything in general, mainly -- the cat didn't think twice on asking him questions but assuming this was better than bickering, better than fighting; he wasn't in the mood for something like that anyway. Usually, the ox took time to seek out orange head in order to fight him because he honestly believed he was capable of winning said fight. Today was kind of different due to being cooped up inside and finally able to feel his legs. See, he's been so tired lately so all he has been doing was sleeping. Lazy ox. New Year's drained him and all he did was avoid people, suppose that took effort too.
"-- no complaints at all."
As for Kyo, he didn't seem to have any complaints either, usually spending the upcoming year alone, now he had someone special to be with. Highly doubtful that the other Sohma was going to admit how much he enjoyed staying by a certain someone's side -- Haru was capable of telling just by the seldom mention of her, even if a name wasn't needed, on how content and blithe he seemed to be. Staring now, he just closed his lips lightly while the two of them kind of uncomfortably stared to each other.
Well -- this was awkward.
