Class picture day 🎒🎶🍎✌️ Get back to school as KINDERGARTEN THE MUSICAL premieres Tuesday September 3 on Disney Junior, streaming NEXT DAY on Disney+.

The series follows five-year-old Berti and her new friends as they navigate the experiences that come with starting school for the first time. Filled with big, Broadway-style song and dance numbers, the art style of the show occasionally switches from CG to 2D animation to peek into the characters’ imaginations, giving them a platform to showcase their emotions. The series highlights themes of self-expression, developing friendships, having confidence in social situations, cultivating teamwork, the importance of imaginative play and the power of music. The series regular cast includes Andrea Rosa Guzman as Berti, Zander Chin as Radish, Leah Newman as Rose, Shyam Balasubramanian as Tej, Tandi Fomukong as Abigail, Kailen Jude as Kenji, Randy Perrine as Jamil and Alice Halsey as Kat and Ellie. Kindergarten: The Musical also features the voices of Gina Torres (Hasbro Entertaiment "Transformers: Prime") as kindergarten teacher Ms. Moreno, popular singer Aloe Blacc and Ana Isabelle (20th Century Studios "West Side Story") as Berti’s Papi and Mami. Leona Lewis as as Hedgehog Holmes and Vincent Rodriguez III ("The Ghost and Molly McGee") as Radish’s dad.

Kindergarten: The Musical was created by Lewis and Pettus, who also serve as executive producers and songwriters along with Hanley and Petty. Emmy Award-nominated producer Tom Warburton ("Muppet Babies") serves as executive producer and supervising director. Humanitas Prize winner Laurie Israel ("Sofia the First") is co-executive producer and story editor. The main title theme song is performed by Grammy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated actress and singer Eva Noblezada.

"Kindergarten: The Musical Vol: 1" by Walt Disney Records will drop on digital music platforms on September 6.
