I like to think that dicktiger kids can get away with a bit more with Bruce then other members of the family. Like no he doesn't let them do whatever but he would fold under pressure sometimes.

When Rick finished his shift, he cleaned up and said goodbye to Rowan and her coworkers. Rowan was happy to see that a girl had come to pick him up, and kissed him on the mouth. She was happy that he also found someone that made him happy, even if she couldn’t be that person for him.
