“Domino” by Ania Catherine
A surrealist dance film interpretation of Dwight D. Eisenhower's 1954 speech about the Domino Theory. He discussed falling dominoes as a metaphor for countries at risk of falling into communism; claiming “You have a row of dominoes set up, you knock over the first one, and what will happen to the last one is a certainty that it will go over very quickly.” The domino theory was was referenced by later presidents as a key reason why the U.S. should intervene militarily in Vietnam.

"We taught an all-ages, all-levels workshop on making dance films awhile back and it was really fun to expand the participants’ ideas about this. A lot of them were concerned with the idea that you have to be a highly trained dancer to make a dance film. We talked about how dance cinema can also mean things like choreographing the camera action over a still object or choreographing an object rather than a body." - Marion Walker, for their online premiere of "We Won't Be In Love Much Longer."http://bit.ly/1CdsaaS
